Ahhhhh we hung out at RVC lanes in winter because it was warm and they took our really bad ID at bar before we were licensed and had cars and vans ; 1972-76 . Would stop off after Jr High to warm up on walk home to Ratville by Mill River. Also did a bowling league (Printing Union crew) back when there was a Printers Union. 300 emplyees had about 8 teams, every Friday night. 3 games, then 3 more with just hard core drinkers – after all its a drinkers league usually. Thew 7 strait strikes once, but it was 6th game and piss drunk – left last 3 open badly! barely broke 200! I had like a 115 avg so I basically sucked but every once in a while….. That was in Carle Place.

Fun fact when the NHL came up with the all-star draft. It was Phil Kessel that was picked last. Nobody knew at the time when the picks were being made, but the NHL's solution to the guy being picked last was – He received a brand new car. After that nobody cared if they were picked last.
