I’ll get us started: contrary to my own and many other people’s beliefs, Kerr is actually right about Lamb. Lamb plays defense.

  2. ChrisPowell_91

I’m not certain what RAPTOR truly is, but Klay being -1.7 defensively shows he’s not that lockdown guy anymore. Looney is worth his weight in gold.

Poole providing the worst WAR; that $30m contract not looking so hot right now.

Edit: RAPTOR stands for “Robust Algorithm (using) Player Tracking (and) On/Off Ratings” and measures the number of points a player contributes to team offense and team defense per 100 possessions, relative to a league-average player.

Loon & DDV. I mean, that’s what I see by eye, but it’s nice to see that come out in the stats. Also not surprising to see Poole down there. I ***am*** surprised by how low JK is.

  4. riktar75

The stats line up with the eye test. Jordan Poole is ass.

  5. sasinsea

Nothing that we haven’t been watching on a nightly basis.

Poole’s good games are few and far between, Looney and Donte routinely fill out our best lineups and make winning plays, Steph better, JK & Moody not getting enough run for me to care about this stat.

Still have no clue what RAPTOR is.

Poole is getting traded in the off-season to extend Draymond

  8. doctorweiwei

Curry finals defense has not lasted lol

  9. BakeSpeaks19

Can we see the numbers over the past month and a half? (Like past 30ish games)

  10. todudeornote

Well, to be fair, Poole’s last on that list because it is sorted by WAR – wins above replacement. Who’s his replacement much of the time? Steph.
Same with JK – he comes in for Wiggins and JMG comes in for Dray.

    – we desperately need Curry back
    – Lamb on paper isn’t as ass as it seems
    – we need Wiggins back
    – Looney is a cheat code
    – Poole is not playing up to his contract next year, he’s kinda been ass. Looks like trade bait.
    – Kuminga needs to attack the basket more, get some easy buckets. The pump fake is working, I suspect his offensive rating was worse a few months ago

As others have said, the stats match up with the eye test, except if you think about the season on the whole like this there are some things that stats don’t reveal.

    1. Wiggins was great until he missed the games with an injury and, if I remember, illness. He was the 2nd or 3rd best on the team. He can return to that level when he returns from his current situation and gets his legs back.
    2. Thompson started the season awful. For the last 6 weeks or so he’s been amazing.
    3. Lamb was solid the 2nd month of the season. He’s been terrible since
    4. Kuminga did not look good at the beginning of the season and, because of that, was taken out of the rotation. He’s been solid the last 6 weeks.

What I’m saying is I agree with these season totals, but not every player has been consistently good or bad all season.

  13. Jordan Poole will be heavily overpaid next year if he repeats these stats.

  14. MotoMkali

Bah this is very clearly inaccurate. Poole and Kuminga have been consistently good performers for us this season no matter what others want to say. They had bad starts to the year and now when they are performing well in lineups others get the credit for their good work. Raptor is a had model.

  15. JP last place on the whole roster @ 40mil/yr.

  16. WouldYouLikeToTouch

Jordan the fuckin TO pro, and anti-defender. but he deserved a bigger salary than Wiggins right?

  17. TheUnseen_001

Jordan Poole is exactly who you think he is.

  18. GalickBanger

Honestly, nothing.. going off these numbers, steph is the leader on offense, Dray is the leader on defense, DoDi is the best off the bench. And we’re known to have the best starting 5 with the worst role players. It’s all there.

  19. Hojie_Kadenth

The first couple months are probably skewing this data. The young guys have been more reliable since then.

  20. destroyeraf

Pooles defense is terrible, so even if he has decent offense he’s a net negative.

  21. HoboNoob

DDV is so balanced. And his offence is only going to get better when curry comes back.

  22. dwaynereade

Giving kuminga 35 min a game needs to happen. Him becoming something rn is important

  23. Schraiber

I’m so much happier when Ty is on the court over Poole. The eye test is obvious, but it’s nice to see the stats back it up.

  24. PayterLobo

Yall are ao ungrateful with Poole. Worst fans I’ve seen hate on such a young talented player.

Dudes a rockstar and it amazes me how so many of you cant see that. Just nit picking stats to prove your point. I HOPE he gets traded and becomes a solidified all star somewhere else and yall can eat your words. Be grateful of this team because if you didnt watch before they were a dynasty then you probably wont be able to handle what happens after.

Thats all Im adding for today..go dubs.

  25. MulberryOk9853

Fans have been wrong about Lamb. He does a ton defensively. He is disruptive.

  26. SnooLobsters1259

If a number tells me Lamb is a better defender than JK, I ignore the number.
