Shams reports there have been reoccurring issues with Morant on the road this season. And it got to the point where there was a players-only meeting last week where Steven Adams talked about conduct on the road and focusing on basketball

I’m legitimately at the point where I’m a bigger fan of Tyus Jones than Ja

  2. Explains a lot

We’d be fighting with the nuggets for a 1 seed right now if this team had any discipline on the road. Instead here we are, season already over. Seriously fuck this team.

Ja really gone down a dark hole if Stevo felt the need to stand up and say something

If this turns into a Vin Baker situation I might give up on any sports that don’t directly involve my kids.

And the front office decided it was a good idea to bring in 5 rookies to the team lol

  6. It will be interesting to see if we start to gel better with Ja away from the team.

I think it’s bad to speculate too much about all of this but this whole season it’s been clear from watching games that, results aside, the energy has been different on road games

Probably the things that personally irk me about this situation the most:

    1. Our supermax player isn’t taking his ultra high paying job seriously at all and doesn’t care about winning/losing nearly as much as we all would prefer

    2. The millions of very confused children right now who literally idolize guys like this

This makes the gun thing look worse. Holy hell when will it end?

    Hate to say it.

    But he’s become cancer

Time for the ORG to shop around while his stock is still high.

Ja’s hella talented and he’s waisting it. He fukkd up not once, not twice but 4 times in one season.

Only other option is intervention/ mentorship from other Vets (ZBO, KG, Melo etc)

But if his teammates nor being father can get him to act right, nothing will.

YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS THE FO WILL GET MORE ROOKIES INSTEAD OF VETS lesss goo

damn i thought the meeting was new and was the start of a change. turns out to be the complete opposite🤦

When the road trip went south during that last losing streak it was obvious they were clubbing too much and I even said as much to anyone willing to listen (basically only my wife). Stinks to be right in this case.

Grizzlies get a superstar player: 🙂

    He is an idiot: 😢

Ja can do whatever he wants he’s a grown man lmao. whether it’s a smart or dumb decision he doesn’t have to listen to anyone’s advice about having fun off the court

  16. KyrieLS777

There are too many people saying Ja is a grown man that can do whatever he wants. Yes we know that. It would still be nice for him to respect his team.

  17. We’re lucky we have Steven Adams. I can’t believe he’s had to put up with this shit. We need more vets to rein this type of shit in

Young star, many lessons, learning the hard way right now, but he will return better than ever for this. We are just lucky it didn’t escalate further. This all started when he got his contract in the summer. Always darkest before the dawn. And it’s going to be the dawn of something great.
