It’s tough watching this team constantly fall apart in the third quarter. Reminds me of the gentry and SVG days….
Man this team is the most up and down team ever, how they can be a 3rd seed and look like contenders to then go and look like a tanking team is crazy. I know they are dealing with big injures but it’s just insane at full health this team is capable of anything but at it’s worst is what we’re getting. It’s really hard to watch but atleast you know the future is bright as long as Zion is healthy.
I disagree with Jake. Even when Zion was healthy, the warning signs were all there: a clunky as hell offense, unexplainable schemes and a CJ that's played from day one like he has long covid or something.

It's not the offense!…(although several players look scared to take good open shots)….The offense kept them in the game in the first half…but then they gave up how many layups??? how many wide open threes? how many non-contested shots? how many guys just standing around (JV)? They really need Larry and Jose and Josh…these other guys don't have the defense intensity.
bro, its NOT the coaching staff… ITS THE POOR SHOOTING from the young guns. as expected, these young guns are not ready to contend for a championship. their mind is to weak so when they are not shooting well, they start to play like sht. lets not just look at this game but look at all the losing game from since Zion went down.

When will Zion return??
Coach Kacy Hill needs to be gone next season with a few others Mike d’antoni needs to step up into the coaching staff to help offensively plus the roster has to change all the way bench and starter

I'm not convinced Zion would really improve this team much more. Last season the guys were playing hard with BI leading the pack all the way into the playoffs. That's not the case today. The energy isn't there and I don't think these guys are buying into Willie Green anymore.
there was a time when Jaxson looked good, Kira was making things happen, Brandon was making great decisions and then boom just like that, it all disappeared.
I’m glad your asking for accountability with everyone. From the front office to the back of the bench, a lot of reflecting needs to be done. I get that Willie’s job may be safe, but Casey Hill and Jarron Collins’ jobs need examining. Somebody has to answer for this decimating drop in the standings. I get that Zion is out. But he was out last year and they stormed into the playoffs. Where’s that energy or consistency now? It’s like as soon as they’re outcoached (which has been often), the players pack it in. So demoralizing.
At this time Pels fans are staring directly at a worst case scenario for the future: Pelicans play themselves completely out of contention. Zion's advisers and Management decide to shut him down, thus continuing the pattern of treating him like fine china, too fragile too expose to the rigors of a long season. If that happens Zion Williamson will continue to believe that he can wait to put his considerable talent on the line, which unless he pushes himself physically and mentally will never happen .
When was the last time we had a triple- double from a pelican player? I really don't know.
This team is finished, and it has been ever since Zion got injured. It seems like the whole team, including the coaches, just gave up when he got hurt. They have been one of the worst teams in the NBA since Zion went out. Either Zion or BI has to be traded, you can't have your best two players both be injury prone players.

It's funny how this season's narrative is turning into the Saints narrative. Much potential, then injuries, bad coaching adjustments and strategies… At least the Saints won the last four, hopefully the Pelicans can get it together

cant say get better when you have JV in the Starting line up or Hernangomez its either have Nance Jr. or Hayes that can get up and down the floor. If that line up change doesnt happen stop talking about doing better imo
