Nice win without Fox. Everyone contributed to the win. Nice to see KH and DM grooving. TL played valuable minutes. Nice win. The Sacramento Kings have got to slay the ghost of 2002 and just win the whole damn thing.
25:42 somehow managed to hear that as "Kenny bars" and thought wow, sure that vending machine is living off his money but you don't have to do KC like that… 😂😂😂
I love that Matt has become our voice on this injury matter. When we were shit and always riddled with injuries nobody was talking about it. Even some Kings media. But now other teams are missing key players and we’re maximizing the opportunity, they’re downgrading this team’s success! Tell em Matt!
Knicks, Suns, Bucks. We could lose 3 in a row, or we could be the talk of the NBA next week after catapulting into the top 5 in NBA Power Rankings. The next 6 days will either be brutal or epic.
Acknowledging their good fortune isn't undermining the team at all or not believing in them. It's part of thorough analysis and also how about half of all championships are won. We gotta stop bashing fellow Kings fans just because they have a different point of view. Having different perspectives is a good thing. We are Kings fans not lemmings.
I still worry that the Suns could catch the Kings and pass them. But now…I think it will be a race between them for the 2 and 3 seeds, not the 3 and 4. I think with Morant out…the Grizzlies, as good as they are, probably are falling to 4 or 5 if Morant misses the rest of the year.
16 games left.
If the Kings can win 10, I think they secure the 2 or 3 seed.
11 and it is the 2 seed. I just think the Suns would be too far back to pass the Kings without basically winning 16 games and I don't see them winning 16 straight or anyone doing that.
Matt I told you we were gonna get #2 can we keep it remains to be seen. I’ve learned not to doubt these boys #beamteam!
Hey Matt, keep up the great work this season has been amazing. I can’t wait to hear Jerry on the show.
Wolves are likely better without KAT and our guys were clearly spent in that loss. Yes b2b for both teams but one looked spry and the other looked half-dead lol
Omg, JERRY!!?? Your pod is already one of my favorite Kings ones but JR will absolutely ensure my tuning in lol 💜
I was born in 2001. Didn't really start watching basketball until middle school just before boogie cousins when I started playing in school. Never in my life have I seen my favorite team of which I have been so loyal to play a game in the playoffs. I have never had more hope in seeing that than this year but I will always have that little voice in my head worried that it will all fall apart. Just hoping they won't be 4th quarter kings that I have been watching all these years during this playoff run
It's not about how valuable a win is, but more about what it signals in future games. What matters is how healthy teams are come playoff time. If Kings will still be facing banged up and injured teams in the playoffs, that's great. If not, it could much more difficult to win games.
If they can get through these next 3 games they'll be good to go
7:33 real talk
The last 7 games I pegged the Sacramento Kings to go 4 – 3 but, they went 6 – 1 with some luck. Then again, Kings of the past usually fold even with some luck on their side. So, kudos to the Sacramento Kings.
That zone defense works most of the time in college but, only on certain times in the NBA especially against elite teams. It just masks a team's defensive deficiencies.
The next 18 games will tell whether the Sacramento Kings have what it takes to get past the first round of the playoffs. Positioning does not matter much whether it be 2, 3 or 4th seed. The reason being that 5 to 8th seeds are really, really good, playoff battle tested and, when healthy are championship caliber. Take for example, the Warriors at #5, oooh good luck to the #4. Suns vs Warriors, now that would be a fun first round.
I'm very interested in seeing what keegan's nba body will look like in a couple seasons. Especially after seeing davion looking super swoll 😂😂
Also good job with the pods matt keep em coming 🔥🔥💪🏽
This is kind of ridiculous. Everybody in the league has to play against the same teams, and the record is based on wins and losses against those same teams that have the same injuries. We're playing the same teams everybody else is. We just have a better record. And we have played without Fox, Sabonls, Monk, Heurter…etc
Here are Memphis's next 8 games…Lakers, Warriors, Dallas, Dallas, Heat, Spurs, Warriors, Dallas, we can do this!
Mike Brown deserves a lot of credit. I don't think I've seen a team where a coach/coaching staff has gotten the best out of almost every player, crazy!
Matt keep bring it g I like this show a lot man GO KINGS!!!
I was at the game against the Pelicans last night, and being a Kings fan my entire life, I thought the Kings played well, even without De’Aaron Fox. It gets me excited to see that the Kings could potentially take second with another win! Light the Beam!!!
I believe the kings can win the finals with their toughest matchup being Denver or the Celtics but the Celtics could very well get eliminated
Win or lose you always do a great job with your show! I follow the Sixers and the Kings and I’ve seen many Locked On shows from the various NBA cities, and yours is by far the best! Keep up the great work! Go Kings!
A player can't always prevent injuries. However, it may also be that the Kings health is to their conditioning, how they practice and their athletic training and strength and conditioning team. They are not just lucky that they haven't missed many games due to injuries.
this king season is truly special to me. I’ve been a fan since I was five years old and it’s really nice to see them performing well I haven’t really seen that in my lifetime. It’s also really special to me because I had attended their first win against the Miami Heat this season
That is the Huerter I wanted to see. He played well last night. He needs to play like that every night. They have limited the opponents scoring. Go kings. Knicks lost tonight against the Hornets. So it can be done.
Last chance to not get shut out by the knicks. We need fox to ball out and the defense to really kick in Like really
