Lol if this team needs grant Williams to compete then they’re already toast. Hard fact is that Tatum/Brown is not a championship core, if they were nobody would focus on role players’ health
As a C’s fan, their biggest problem the entire season has been the defense. The switch everything scheme they ran last year that suffocated teams with Smart-JB-JT-Al-Rob doesn’t work anymore. Rob can’t stay healthy and Al is either saving himself for the playoffs or has aged a lot the past year. Both are a step slow this year and that just puts more of a load on the Jays. Maybe Joe knew this and decided to go all offense this year but the defensive identity that Ime built last year is basically gone

I just blame the coach atm, if they lose to the bucks this year, man oh man, imo the celtics have a better roster than the bucks, so either they have a real plan for the 4 big four (giannis, bobby, kris and Lopez) or they will suffocate when those 4 are playing together, other than Rob williams, the celtics don't have enough bodies.

I'm a Celtics fan but they aren't getting out of the second round this year. Unfortunately once February started they have gone back to no ball movement, take turns jacking up threes. I had high hopes back in December but it's pretty clear they would lose to the Knicks, Cavs, Bucks, or Sixers in a 7 game series.
