I am seriously not having a good time š
Someone reset the counter
So heās being reevaluated with 4 days left in the regular season.
This past week has been a lot of fun and feel good news āŗļø
Just lovely
Yall see kids, stop party on road cuz later yall play on hangover after brooks birthday
Any one else think he’d be back sooner if Ja was playing?
it feels like everything just went to shit after Ja said we were fine in the west lol
I want to die
Throw in the Rookie Squad for minimum 1/2 of every game left, rest Jackson, get bane reps at PG, unleash Snack (the world isnāt ready), and letās go get our boy Wemby. Stick a fork in this season sports fans, itās done.
Damn, we canāt catch a break!
Is it mathematically possible to miss the playoffs? Because we should definitely try for that.
The thing about rock bottom is, you’re never 100% there
Im thinking about starting an inter-faith Grizzlies prayer Discord goddammit, it looks like we need all the forces we can summon together.
All just from diving after the ball as time expired. Fuckin hell man.
Can someone explain how a guy that is set to come back at the end of a road trip (who was playing 5-5) now has to be reevaluated for another month? Like what the fuck type of roller coaster is this organization on?
Fade me. It’s obvious we’re throwing in the towel this season. Is it too late to tank for Wemby?
“it’s over, ladies and gentlemen, it is over!”
Reporting myself to the Reddit Crisis Counselors
Oh hey, baseball season! Nice.

The Grizzlies communication/pr division needs some serious help in communicating with its fans/city. First, all the tight lips, āno commentā, āweāre keeping it in houseā stuff with the Ja situation, and now Adams is out another month. You donāt try stem cell recovery if your rehab is just going to be 4 weeks or whatever they originally said. They like to play their cards close to the vest, and I get that, but being honest with your fan base goes a long way. Thereās a good chance Adams doesnāt play again this year. SMDH.
So much negativity in this sub. Shit sucks but look at the upside. This is a great opportunity for our bench and rookies to get some valuable time on the court and getting reps. Who knows, we could still put up a fight in the post season. If we made it past the first round after all of these setbacks, I think that would be a huge accomplishment.
Can we just take a break and come back next season?
Is it mathematically possible for us to be in the play-in?
Grizzlies organizational trajectory to be reevaluated in 3 months
Wait, wasn’t he playing 5 on 5? I don’t understand where this is coming from.
Any Centers we could sign (or is it too late by league rules)?
Demarcus Cousins, LaMarcus Aldridge, Hassan Whiteside, Derrick Favors, and Greg Monroe are all out there. I know they’re not what they used to be, but we really don’t have any size with strength behind Jackson at C if Adams is going to be out for the playoffs.
FUCKING FUCK
Why did we not target another big man at the deadline
I don’t even know what to say now.
posted this in an r/nba thread because i keep seeing everyone say losing adams isnt a big deal
i keep seeing this take but i promise you he transforms the team. hes the best offensive rebounder in the league and the best screen setter. all of our other players go through the motions of screens, but don’t hinder the opposing defender in anyway at all, while adams is a brick wall that creates a wide open lane for ja to drive. he also allows jaren to not be under the rim the whole time, reducing his fouls and allowing him to be a better help defender which is how he gets all those stocks. its not that adams is himself a game changing player, but that he compliments and improves ja and jaren’s game so well in ways that any other center in the league wouldnt. pair that with the fact that the grizzlies are one of the worst shooting teams in the league, it really shows when the best offensive rebounder in the league isn’t playing. another thing that really hurts is that our backup big men are all undersized and not good defenders or rebounders, so we are getting killed by any competent big men without him. no screens for guards, no rebounds for second chances, and i haven’t even brought up his passing which is incredible for someone like him. i won’t argue that we aren’t a house of cards team as we aren’t gonna win anything if we are missing one of ja, jaren, or adams. i think that can be said for most teams though as the healthiest of the top teams usually wins it all. when you lose ja you lose the starpower but can replace him with tyus who is a starting caliber player. when you lose adams (and clarke) you are replacing him with essentially a g leaguer.
TLDR: stars worse off without him, offense stagnant without him (might have some life if get ja back), defense significantly worse without him.
This post left out the āSteven Adams has received stem cell injections.ā Sounds like my man is not healing properly
Season is over
Good luck to those of you still huffing hopium. Iām gonna throw the brown paper bag over my head and wait to get embarrassed again next year
It’s a hard knock life.
hammer. nail. coffin.
Season over. This second half of the season shit on us grizz fans. Hopefully next year they can build a roster that can win it all and not focus on developing rookies so much
Fuuuuuuuuckkkkk
Fully ruptured my PCL last year playing sport. I have no medical knowledge of my own but what I was told was that it is common for people, including professional sports people, to be able to live without a PCL and not require surgery unless it is unstable and the knee collapses. However, your acl now has to do all the work the PCL used to. Was given a 6 week timeline but it was about 10-12 weeks before I could run without any pain. But I wasnāt a professional athlete doing a disciplined rehab programme. Hope he hasnāt damaged his acl or is going to need surgery
Why no title window is open forever and anything can happen.
