All the nephews in here were freaking out in the game thread about Max taking the final shot last night and claiming ridiculous things like “Why did Spo run a play for Max?!” and blah blah. When I pushed back on some of that, I got downvoted to oblivion, but Spo’s comments after the game basically confirmed my argument, which was that they wanted Tyler to take the last shot, that’s why they gave him the ball, but Max ended up getting a much better look than anything Tyler was ever going to get from half court with a 7 footer guarding him. Spo was totally happy with the shot too and again confirmed my argument that it was the best possible look because Max was the most open out of anybody. Spo’s comments start at 3:00.

Nephews gonna nephew but I think we all agree that outside of Jimmy/Bam they should try to sell the farm this off season
No one here has ever been wrong about anything so I’m not sure this post will have it’s intended effect lol.
We had our opportunities to win that game last night. We turned the ball over 20 something times, missed 7 free throws. Tyler should have taken that shot. But I understand how Strus really wanted to redeem himself. Regardless, fuck Max, 7 for 22 looking-ass. He should’ve passed it back to Tyler. Duncan Robinson will take all his minutes if it were up to me. Anyways, Heat should stomp the shit out of Cleveland on Friday. This game was the last straw. I know we are about to see the real Miami Heat now after this game

Self inflicted loss. Need to let Dipo ball handle less, Jimmy needs to come in way earlier in 4th q. Bam was unlucky in fouls. And we weren’t blown out and lost by 4. Need to clean up and execute. 6/5 seed still in play but margin getting slim
My issue was not using any screens for Hero. Left on an island shooting over a 7 footer.
Don’t bother man. I’ve seen people here get mad about shot selection on plays where it’s clear the initial play got blown up and they weren’t going to get a better shot in time. If it was up to a lot people here then Jimmy, Bam and Tyler would be the only people on the team with any field goal attempts in a game.
Also I’m a huge Strus hater but there was nothing wrong with that shot in theory. He’s made that kind of shot before even in games where he was cold. The only thing bad about it is that he missed it. Just one of those things you have to live with.

Max is trash
We gotta stop acting like Max had a great look. He was off-balance, fading to the left and it was more contested than it appeared from the main angle. Not to mention he was like 1-7 at that point. Max ain’t been the guy to nail a game winner all season. All bad imo.
Gave me PTSD of game 7 last year.
Looking forward to this off-seasons rebuild. Excited to get rid of most of these bums.
