Dayron Sharpe ruining the Dru Smith legacy game smh
Fun game, though. I don’t wanna pile on Sharpe, but 4 boards in 30 minutes and 5-13 shooting is just absurdly bad.
People are gonna wonder why the starters never came back, but that’s just how sports work? Whether it’s the “right” move or not, any coach is gonna reward and ride with his backups who’ve been playing hard and brought the team back in the first place.
Dru Smith is the secondary evolution of Chris Chiozza.
Long Island Nets could compete with any other team
Dru needs to get some minutes in the future
Good fight, Cam heated up at the end, but he should’ve taken the last shot over Carter. Yuta was prime Rodman in that first half. Patty, Smith, and Duke were also great.
Patty or Cam deserve minutes over Seth, at the bare minimum.
What does Cam Thomas needs to prove man
Pretty proud of the guys showing up to Milwaukee like that.
Hell to pay if they lose tomorrow though …
Very impressed with our 3rd stringers, they nearly pulled it off! Though now it hurts more cuz they got my hopes up after I was fine expecting an L lol
But now the starters are well rested for tomorrow’s game, and a bunch of guys made a good showing for why they should be in the rotation going forward! Onto the next one!

never been more invested in a game where we didn’t take the lead for 3 quarters lol
Super fun game. Cam Thomas showing again he deserves minutes. JV will probably point to how we lost though. Dru, DDJ & Sumner all showed that they have talent. Dayron Sharpe should never play for the Brooklyn Nets again. Stay in Long Island big guy.

Patty Mills is underrated
I think running this group was the right call by JV. Disappointed we lost but was a better game than anyone was expecting.
Guess I’m a Kings fan for the night.
Drive the into Brook Lopez it’s a good strategy. I’m sure you’ll get it by him
Actually a great game by our young reserves. Keep in perspective. The bucks are the best team in basketball, and Lopez is a huge component of that. Always a bummer to lose, but really should have no hard feelings over this one.

Lol, proud of our guys though. Fun game.
Great game. Loss hurts, but the bench ate they were hungry.
The fuck that our little G Leaguers and 3rd stringers can keep up with the 1st seed Bucks proves that JV is an amazing coach.
Really proud of them. Feels like we really struggle late in games sometimes after mounting these epic comebacks even with the starters. Just missing timely shots or having mental lapses on defense. Cam is so fun to watch when he’s cooking.

Our C team took them to the limit, I’ll take it. I mean Patty had the most minutes and points lol
They needed a monstrous preformance from Lopez to stop this bench, so proud of them.
Also Big Juice should get Curry mintues
good effort but moral victories does not help us in the standings
The only complaint i had was we probably should have closed with Noel.
Dru should be our second unit PG. he really surprises me sometimes
Valiant fucking effort from the bench, nuff respect.
Cam Thomas was good tonight. I hope he can take the next step during the off-season he just needs to be consistent.

Dru Smith looks like he has some genuine potential. He plays great defense, and his offense is solid. I think he can be useful on this team.
Also, give Day’Ron a break. He’s not going to fix his game overnight. He also kept us in the game early on, when Cam (somehow still everyone’s favorite) was struggling to even hold possession.
Edit: Did anyone watch the game?? Cam was HORRIBLE for 90% of it. He was totally lost. If anything, this game taught me that he hasn’t learned a single thing about team basketball.
