Joel Embiid in tonight’s 21-point comeback vs. the Blazers: 39 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, 3 blocks and the GAME WINNER on 13-20 shooting

Embiid is PHENOMENAL. After a horrific first half from the Sixers (where Embiid still went 8-10 for 20 points) he locked in offensively and defensively, scoring 19 pts in the second half. He finally got to have a clutch game-winner after he almost hit a generational full court shot vs. the Celtics a few weeks ago.

Is anyone more well-rounded than Embiid?

MVP performance. Hitting the clutch shot when it counted most

r/nba keeps trying to convince me he’s a bum tho

Sixers have been at a different level this year in terms of late game execution. 15-2 run to get the game down close and the Embiid game winner

    This could be their year

how many 20 point deficits have they come back from this season lmao

No fair 76er fans get to watch this then see Jokic fight for his life against the Spurs

  7. KaiserKaiba

Pretty amazing how he’s just gotten even better compared to last year.

He’s Hans down the best player in the world.

I am so thankful I get to watch this guy play for my team. Just an insane talent that we all get to watch

Embiid out dueled Lillard in the 4th. Just a more unstoppable scorer

Horrific first half from everyone on the Sixers except Embiid. He carried them

Sixers money line at half when they are down double digits has been an automatic hit as of late.

Just upvoting anything positive about Embiid before it mysteriously disappears.

MVP race isn’t done. Just today Lowe sneaked in this take on Jokic “For the last few games, I’m like Dude, maybe take some shots?” Beck has also said he hasn’t decided on yet. They are looking for a “reason” not to give it to Jokic, and Embiid’s giving them all those reasons. I believe their head to head game where Embiid destroyed Jokic will matter in the end if the 76ers’ record is a game with that of the Nuggets.

Hahahaha the narrative is slowly shifting – Embiid might get his mvp!

  16. If Embiid was a forward and averaged what he is rn, would he win MVP? Curious if his position works against him

Jokic is gonna need some signature wins down the stretch to stay in front of the MVP race — Embiid is killing it.

I have a sinking feeling these guys are gonna win their chip this year

  19. Bladex20

Cant give a dude his 3rd straight MVP when someone else is playing like this

The Sixers’ ability to come back from 20ish point deficits is ridiculous

  21. Suspicious_Chance195

The mods at RealGM will also irrationally ban you for life if you disagree with Jokic being MVP every year.
