This is now a PJ Washington hate subreddit.

  2. WE. WERE. SO. CLOSE. Keep THT long term. Dude can hoop!

  3. Mdgt_Pope

Couldn’t watch so I was coming to check and see if it was over, glad we got the W XD

Fun fact: THT is younger than every (non two-way) player on the roster except for Kessler

  5. Tha_crack_fox

My respect for the THT slanderers just reached rock bottom. im kinda in love with him.

  6. InNeedOfABetterName

Crazy how fast everyone turned their opinions on THT lmao, yesterday when I was here defending him most people wanted to get him out of here asap

  7. FERFreak731

Resign Him Today. I don’t care about drafting Henderson now, because we have Talented Horton Tucker.

  8. SomePoorGamer

Congratulations! Talentless Horton-Tucker has evolved into Talented Horton-Tucker!

I’m happy he’s on this team and hope we keep him long term. If he breaks the triple-double curse I’ll happily buy his jersey.

THT is the definition of an anti-hero this season when it comes to play, he either play’s really well or really awful.

The fact that THT stepped up when Lauri was struggling makes me smile

Solid Win, Lauri had one of his worser games of the season but the rest of the guys stepped up especially THT.

    GAME NOTES:

THT with a season high 37 points on 14-24 shooting. His last 3 games he has been on a tear. He almost had the triple double as well, 10 assists, 9 rebounds. He looked so polished tonight, nobody could stop him. He was hitting 3’s, crazy layups, and making the right reads. He kept his turnovers low, and was running that pick n roll with Kessler to perfection, but even THT’s ISO’s were great. What a great game by THT. He’s only 22, and if he can do 75% of this performance every night I genuinely think he can be a starting PG for us in the future. His shot still needs to be developed, but he has bounced back majorly. To think, he was getting DNP CD as late as January.

Seriously, go watch some of the shots THT was hitting. Dude looked unreal with his layup attempts lmao

Lauri didn’t have a good game by any means. He finished with 13 points 13 rebounds, but shot 1-9 from 3 and 3-22 from the field. A lot of the passes to him were off stride, but he couldn’t get anything going tonight.

Kessler looked like a beast again. 17 points 8-10 shooting, 16 rebounds (8 offensive) with 3 blocks. What a great game for our rookie. I’m genuinely so shocked at how refined his game is for a rookie. He, once again, was the best big on the floor

Agbaji shot for 10 points 3-10, but the main stat I want to highlight is just 1 assist. He played about 49 minutes from last game and tonight without recording an assist before he got one. I still think his game has a lot of growth, and his confidence is getting there, but he needs to get more involved and get passing more.

Klynyk was our second best offensive player tonight, 17 points on 7-9 shooting, 2-3 from 3. He was big that first quarter before THT fully got going.

Our bench was booty. Fontecchio had 9, Dunn had 7, but that bench unit gave up a lead of 23 points in the third quarter, when the Hornets cut it to 7. Jones wasn’t cutting it defensively, Dunn had some good defensive moments, and was passing the ball well, but Rudy Gay and Juzang were digging us a hole and missing their rotations which allowed for wide open 3’s for the Hornets.

The biggest stats to me was 60 rebounds by the team. 16 for Kessler, 13 for Lauri, 8 for THT, and 6 for Klynyk led the way. Plus, 20 offensive rebounds which generated a lot of offensive and free throws. We didn’t pass the ball too well, mainly because THT had the ball in his hands when he was in and was scoring, but we need to see more playmaking from others not named THT. Olynyk usually fills that spot, but tonight didn’t have a single assist.

We allowed Charlotte to set the pace in the third quarter. They were running the floor, attacking, and generating good looks. We were letting them push us around and hit 17 3’s on us which isn’t too good, especially against a team like Charlotte without a lot of shooters.

With Lauri struggling majorly tonight, I wish that others would’ve stepped up besides THT. Sure, Olynyk had more points than his average, same with Kessler and Agbaji, but it was all THT down the stretch. It was working, but I would’ve loved to have seen Agbaji reach 15 points, or Dunn get 12, etc… This game was pretty disappointing offensively besides THT and Kessler imo. They played out of their minds tonight to lock this up. On any other night where THT plays at his season averages, this game is a loss. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but this was a game for others to pick up slack. THT did so amazingly, so did Kessler, but am disappointed in our other guys.

33-35 bitches. Would’ve been a great loss tonight but also a great win and fun THT performance. However, for those tanking, we do have the hardest SOS remaining, so I think we lose a lot more. But, we are 1.5 games back from the 6th seed, but also 2.5 games behind the 6th pick in the draft.

Stats only show 7 rebs for THT? Im confused

    e: nba app shows 7 and espn 8 🤔

  14. dautjazz

THT on a roll lately. I honestly had little faith in this guy the first half of the season. I think he could be special. A 6’4″ PG with a 7’1″ wingspan is ridiculous, and top of that he’s strong and very athletic. He was severely lacking basketball IQ, but of late he’s been playing intelligently.

  15. THT with another beautiful game. he’s on his way to superstar status & proven his worth. danny ainge saw something and i couldn’t be happier. only ONE rb away from a triple double

  16. MegaAltarianite

Oh, shout out to the Charlotte broadcast team. They had interviews with the Jazz coach and players, got excited over plays on both sides, seemed knowledgeable about the opposing team, and said Ochai’s name right.
