Why I think Shaedon could have an elite turnaround jumper

Why I think Shaedon could have an elite turnaround jumper

I work on my shot form a lot, especially my turnaround, and the result of that is watching a lot of shot mechanic videos. I’m not an expert, or even good at basketball, but I notice a lot of form fundamentals Shaedon uses that are eerily similar to players like Kobe, Lamarcus and Carmelo.

Maybe everyone already knows this, I just thought it was neat.

Math checks out. He will be elite no doubt

Oh he definitely could. Has been quite impressive the kind of shots he’s able to knock down, in his rookie season, even early on in the season, and when I finally got to see him do a turnaround fadeaway in a game I thought this as well.

But will he be used like that. He has all the tools to have an elite turn around. The form, the athleticism, the balance, just needs to be put in a position to do it.

this is what made me believe he would be a superstar in the league eventually. You just don’t see players put together a fadeaway jumpshot of this caliber often, if at all. Kobe had the smoothest jumper and it nearly carried his game for his entire career. Give Shaedon another year in the league and you can expect BIG things for this young man in year 3. We cannot trade him!

That’s why they call him “maple mamba”

The cool hair is definitely a distraction for the defender. 🙂
