The way I see it there’s 5 serious contenders right now:
1: Milwaukee Bucks
2: Boston Celtics
3: Denver Nuggets
4: Phoenix Suns
5: Philadelphia 76ers
Only reason I rank Phoenix at 4 is I don’t see them getting above the 4th seed meaning they’ll have a harder road to the conference finals than Denver will.
Nets West.
I think the Nets won that trade for sure.
If they are healthy they are contenders but ayton and chris paul are frauds
KD done for the season. Phoenix done for the season
If Chris Paul, Devin Booker and KD can stay healthy and KD and Chris Paul don't regress to heavily, especially CP3, the Suns are my favs next year
Simply, Kevin Durant is there for when Devin Booker or Chris Paul inevitably chokes in the playoffs
Too monotone and speaking too slowly just gonna read comments it's just sum bout it I don't like idk
This topic is disorienting, non-stop whiplash day-to-day like the mvp conversation.
Yes we are
Last time this big of a trade happened was Clyde Drexler to the Rockets. And they did win it all. But that’s really the only example of a major star trade working the same year.
It's basically which team in the west is going to meet Milwaukee in the finals
They’re contenders the way the clippers are contenders
Obviously not with Durant out. Waist of video.
I said this before and I'll say it again, you do not add a superstar player mid-season and expect the new team to be chamionship contenders, especially one that has christopher on it.
I think the suns are op too but as a Nets fan nothing is a sure thing CP3 is getting really old and KD has become very injury prone ovb they have a great chance to win one in the next 2-4 seasons but u never know
No KD there not contenders. Full team. They are definitely contenders 😂 it’s not much harder than that
I think they are. This season they have atleast 2 wins against every western team considered contenders except for the Nuggets, and all of those games (Besides the one game against the mavs) they didn't even have KD.
Even with Durant they can't win the Finals this year because of their bench, which is the worst among the elite teams. Without Durant they're finished. Also, that trade had to be one of the worst in NBA history, which is how I felt from the beginning.
Yes they are if KD comes back quickly and no more injuries. He is worth at least 29 points for the Suns per game.
Chris Paul doesn’t have another good year left in him. They need to get it done soon
Easiest way to defeat the Suns is to make KD play in a way that will injure him. The guy has a 50% of getting his ankles broken on every jump.
relax the suns are all hype no depth and KD is injury prone
I wouldn’t call the west weak just think there’s more parody of talent compared to east which is little more top heavy
The west has been hurt bru. How u a nba channel and didn’t even mention that? If teams were healthy u would have seen more teams separate themselves. For example the suns obviously
The Nets are better with Mikel Bridges instead of KD.
The Suns have disappointed in the playoffs for enough years that they all enter the post season as playoff veterans. Dont sleep on this team. They dont need as much time to gel as some people think.
KD should come to Philly if he wants more rings.
Your biggest mistake is looking at team record as a measure of if they're good. I'm sure Lakers, Clippers, GSW will be tougher outs than they're record suggests (*if healthy) come playoff time.
I think many ppl get too excited after just 3 games of seeing KD on the floor with them.
Let us not forget they were facing pretty bad teams like the bulls n hornets. Mavs are decent but have no defence and that game went down to the wire. Wait till they face actual contenders like celtics, bucks, nuggets etc. Before instantly crowning them as favourites with KD healthy.
