HOUSTON, TX — Jaylen Brown was very critical of the Celtics performance in Monday night’s embarrassing 111-109 loss to the Houston Rockets, the worst team in the Western Conference.
While Brown did his part scoring a season high 43 points, the All-Star wing was very critical of the Celtics lack of effort and energy throughout the game.
“Just a lack of effort, for sure,” Brown told reporters after the game. “Fifty-fifty balls, loose balls, they beat us … It just felt like they won every loose ball. They just wanted it more.”
” … You’re playing a team with only 15 wins, you think (a win is) just going to automatically happen. That’s not the NBA and it’s not basketball. And we didn’t have a sense of urgency, so we weren’t rewarded tonight. That’s what happens.”

🤣 Celtics aren't getting past the 1st round of the playoffs this year, unless something miraculous just suddenly clicks all of a sudden. I expect the finals to be Golden State vs. the Bucks and Golden State wins #5
