Cam Thomas is nowhere near the playmaker Spence is. Say what you ab Spence. You’re never gonna see Cam with 10 assists running an offense especially without like 6 turnovers.

Y’all taking it too far for the Spence hate. The only other option which should happen more frequently is having Mikal take the ball up and play some Point Forward and have Spence off ball. It’s been a few games in a row of the team relying way too much on Spence to facilitate for them.
That’s a coaching problem and that’s a roster construction problem bc we don’t have another PG (I don’t count Ben). Spence is incredible off ball but when hes been asked all game to do EVERYTHING you will get games like these.
Mikal is capable of facilitating but he is going passive towards the end of the game and letting Spence do the work **because he is not used to being a #1 option.** Mikal is incredible and should take control in these scenarios but he’s simply not used to doing so.
I said it the other night that the late game offense is gonna continue to look ugly. Like how the kinks were worked out after getting blown out multiple games, this will work itself out too. Spence has had one of the best assist to TO ratios in the entire league since coming back to Brooklyn. He had an awful 2nd half. Shit happens. This should be directed towards the coaching staff, not Spence.

amazing point tbh. Cam is inconsistent and I know why he has a leash. but Dinwiddie should have the same, if not an even shorter leash. he’s so terrible at decision making I’m actually surprised
