Cam Thomas heated up too late again 😔

  2. melodyfelony

One of the most confusing games I’ve seen. We bring this to a 9 point game from a 20 point deficit and JV just sits out Mikal the entire fourth. What’s the game plan here man

  3. People over hate on Dinwiddie here but just when he’s out of the game we look better

  4. Happy to see at least Sharpe had a decent run at the end

  5. Individual_Attempt50

we’re going to fall into the play-in aren’t we

  6. We’re painfully bad on 3s considering how good our players are historically from 3

  7. We just could not hit the 3 during this game unless it was an full open look

  8. Groady_Wang

Bridges coming out the game flat really killed us

  9. I’m confused what the game plan is at times under Vaughn. I really am.

When you rely on threes so heavily, you need to make them.

Inb4 “at least we’re likeable again” comments

While that’s true, I hope y’all remember that we didn’t reach ECF over the past 4 years when we had those stars and weren’t “likeable”. We spent more time wondering if Kyrie will play and when KD will be back rather than watching Nets basketball.

JV ruining Cam Thomas. Let the fucking kid play and cook from the get go. Coach him don’t just bench him when he does something you didn’t like. That’s not coaching.

Jv being exposed without KD and Kyrie. This is a coaching issue not a player issue. I have zero confidence in jv. We need a new coach. His 3 point contest offense isn’t going to win that many games.

  14. The positives were Clax continuing to shine, Mikal managing to get some pretty shots off and Sharpe having a nice little run at the end. The negatives were… pretty much everything else. Still can’t rebound at all, terrible shooting from three, and some woeful defence. I’m amazed the score was so close at the end, just a little more defensive focus and effort on the boards and we would have won.

  15. Downashland

When your offense is based upon threes and dunks and the threes aren’t falling, you get games like this.

I can see us winning three in a row when our shots start falling

  16. depressedpr0phet

Yuta would’ve been great today. Sumner would’ve been great today. Jacque cannot coach

  17. algorand819

At least heat lost yesterdau so its easier to secure 6th seed.

  18. From how bad we’ve been struggling from 3 I would’ve liked to see Patty get some run. He obviously has his defensive woes but he’s been a nice jolt whenever he’s gotten his chance lately.

  19. We need to ship Dinwiddie and DFS out of here.

  20. zestysnacks

Alright, sat very close for this game and I have some thoughts.

It’s really obvious at this range that we straight up just don’t have an offensive playbook tailored to this roster, and probably won’t have one until next season.

It’s frustrating to watch dinwiddie, but at the end of the day, it’s asking a lot of him to just pull the whole offense out of his ass; he’s not a pure pg, but he’s best option atm.

Mikal and cj and even dfs and royce are srsly so good, but they really need that one guy to unlock it all. Joe…ugh. He looks cooked.

Clax. Man, I was not prepared for how good this dude is up close. Guy was going at jok every play and showed 0 fear. Was even outplaying him for a good stretch, could see jokic getting pissed.

Finally, Jokic is incredible. A center who basically plays pg, I’ve never seen anything like it. He just magically knows who has the best shot. It’s insane that close up.

  21. sabascastellon

This is crazy but if time lord is still out for the first round of the playoffs our best shot at winning some games or just at least one would be Boston. Any big and we’re fuck.

  22. ssj3pretzel

We’re not even a decent team when we cant beat the travelling kings on their b2b, and now the travelling nuggets on their b2b.

  23. TheNightRain68

Really need some offensive weapons this off-season

  24. burner7221

I can’t totally prove this but I think the team plays better on the road than in NYC.

We are 2-6 in NYC since the trade deadline, including the 2 losses in MSG. Outside of NYC, we are 4-4 and besides the Bulls game our offense looks much better. Two of those 4 losses were even winnable, especially the Hawks game.

  25. Downashland

Jordan Hawkins from UConn would be a great draft pick. I fear he’s playing himself into the lottery tho
