  1. Raps resign him for whatever they agree to. I think that’s pretty obvious.

What are the upcoming FA PG options. I think Fred is probably one of the most highly sought after FAs this off-season. I feel like someone will just Throw max at him if we don’t.

    30 for FVV

    25 for GTJ

    20 for Jakob

    Supermax for Siakam next season

Let’s continue the first round exits

  4. He stay.

I’m not 100% convinced on Fred but he is the best we’ve got and we have no plan B. Also him and Jak are hooping

  5. AnonRaimu

We actually look like an NBA team in the half-court running through a Fred high PnR offense with Poeltl I would rather lose GTJ in FA then Fred and Jakob

  6. UjiriWatcher

Lmao I have no idea what the front offices plan is.

Resign all 3 of GTJ, FVV and Jakob? Then give OG and Siakam big money next off-season? Then Scottie gets a rookie max too? All that money for a perennial first round exit. Max money to Pascal in his mid 30s sounds terrible

We will re-sign him to a long-term deal, and bring a young backup to learn from him off the bench.

OG is probably the odd man out, not because he’s not brilliant but because his position is redundant and his value is high, plus he wants a bigger role which we can’t offer him with Scottie on the roster, and Scottie is going to likely be given even more touches next season, not less…so it’s likely they move him for a bunch of quality pieces and picks to fill out the bench and add some young ammo to develop alongside Scottie.

Raptors have to always re-sign their homegrown stars. All-star caliber free agents aren’t lining up to come to Toronto.

  9. MDS_1996

As long as its not an overpay, its really the only option

  10. Before anyone comments, keep in mind that re-sign and resign have two totally different meanings.

  11. Resign. There’s no depth in the PG position

  12. chrisPjelly

Re-sign him, for better and for worse. The alternative of losing him for nothing,
losing his cap space via bird rights, or LITERALLY having no viable PG to put in his place is a complete and utter disaster waiting to happen.

Introducing newest member of the Orlando magic

lol oh man it’s like we can’t get rid of dude. FO gave dude all the leverage how can’t anyone say they been good? we have no choice but to commit to a garbage core we are in a sticky situation and half the fanbase doesn’t even realize it

  15. lonny__breaux

Ideally sign and trade but more likely pay him and then try and flip him later.

  16. raps14ever

I think one of Siakam, Fred or Gary will probably not be here next season. For salary reasons, especially if we don’t make the playoffs

Sign our ‘stars’ and stay perennial losers with this bunch.

Re-signing Fred, Gary and Poeltl, along with OG signing an extension is gonna put us over the tax line by a A LOT. So, some big decisions for our FO to make
