I started watching this early this morning on Showtime. It’s obviously not new, but I don’t get to watch much TV these days, if it’s not sports or Nick Jr or Disney or some shit.
Personal feelings aside, it’s an interesting look at the pre-draft process, dealing with expectations and personal challenges surrounding a top prospect. It’s also an interesting and very valid criticism of the NCAA, which was before all the NIL deals, which international players can’t benefit from anyway. Watching the game highlights, it’s clear he’s just not moving the same as he used to. Hope he can get the physical things corrected and come back strong.
