Nets would send Cam, Joe and Spencer plus a million draft picks

Nets receive Damian. Lillard.

I already know what y’all think but do you think this is possible even? Would you trade away the draft picks we just got for him? I think this is an easy yes, personally…

I don’t know if I would give up all the picks for him. Putting KD on the Suns boosts them into that top tier of the NBA. Us getting Dame doesn’t put us in the top tier.

He’s the kind of star I’d want, someone whose commitment is never called into question, but all depends on the price.

Going from a non contender to a non contender doesn’t make sense to me

  3. This is so out of context. In the full interview Dame literally agreed with the idea of sitting out and reiterated his desire to stay in Portland.

So no, I don’t think there is any way this happens.

Dame is old and not getting any healthier. No way.

Nets are the perfect team for Dame. As long as we still have the core of Bridges, CJ and Claxton. We have an abundance of wing defenders in this scenario still

People are trying to make something out of nothing he’s only ever said he wants to stay in Portland and this makes no sense, dame can still score 71 but he’s not taking us all the way and we have no business trading picks for a almost 33 year old small guard

  7. While we at it…let’s sign kyrie as FA in July. Then I hear sun’s really love bridges so once they lose in playoffs you know KD will demand trade to “easier champ path” we can trade bridges and picks for KD.

Before we even talk about whether this trade is good or not (it’s not) I hope you guys realize Dame is not going anywhere. The man would sooner die than leave/ask out of Portland and the Blazers FO hasn’t shown signs of wanting to part ways with him either.

Dame will never run away from the grind

Just sit Ben Simmons out the rest of the year, playoffs or not. Let him heal properly and boom, starting PG for next year assuming he gets back to form.

Dame is A FANTASTIC player. Doesn’t make this team any closer to a ring though.

Would be terrible to trade away all the assets for a 33yr old 6’2” PG with durability issues.

Nets aren’t a Lillard away from winning anything.

Dame isn’t winning this team a title. So why sell the farm in order to bring him here?

I would love to have Dame here, but that wouldn’t be enough to make us a serious contender. He’s not leaving Portland anyway.
