  1. Nothing wrong with Norm's statement. Luck is a part of life including sports and that indeed had luck in it, just can't be used to determine everything

  2. after pascal missed the first two three pointers i was like ok stop shooting now and what do they do? make him take like 4 more 3's

  3. To be fair, every NBA team that wins the championship requires some luck. Who knows what would have happened if Kawhi's shot bounced out? Nets would have beaten the Bucks if not for KD's gigantic ass feet. Would the Warriors even have a dynasty if Kyrie, Love, Kawhi, and CP3 were all healthy during the years they won their three championships? Still, it doesn't take away the fact that the Raptors had a legendary championship run.

  4. F… Powell, He claimed that he stepped up in the playoffs, B.S.. Powell was so bad in the first 2 rounds that we almost got eliminated, in our championship year. Also the next year, Powell was a disaster in the playoffs against Boston. Fans gave Powell a lot of love, and the ingrate turns around, and stabs them in the back. It will be fun to watch the Clippers choke in the playoffs, this season.

  5. norm's been making a lot of salty/bitter comments for someone who claims to love the city. i get that he is probly asked a lot of questions regarding toronto. i also get that his loyalty is to his new team now and he needs to big them up. but there's a third option and that's to not say anything that makes him come off salty that he got traded. even though he speaks the truth, there is absolutely no need to say the things he's been spewing about the team that gave him a ring

  6. Norm 'he butt hurt bad'….I know he was popular but we did not lose that trade Gary Trent Jr. is Instant Offence and a younger Player that will only get better. 😮😮

  7. Norman is not supposed to focus on the past instead focus playing well on his current team. So far they haven't won anything since the Claw been there.

  8. There is nothing wrong with Barton he will get his strides he's still adjusting..

  9. Without a go-to scorer they can count on when they fall in to scoring droughts, there is absolutely zero room for error for this team. A few turnovers, a bad floor lineup, and not calling timeouts when the momentum is shifting all adds up to yet another close loss. This team really can beat anyone, but they don't have the luxury of players having a bad night. Pascal needed to score more. If Barton wasn't going to score, they needed to use someone else. Nurse doesn't have the luxury of letting anyone "play through it" when they're not producing. Oh, and if Barton isn't doing it, why not try Wieskamp? Wasn't 3 point shooting what they brought him in for?

  10. Apparently, Norm doesn't realize that his comments de-value his team's championship by playing into the "Raptors got lucky" narrative. I thought he was smarter. He just needs to focus on the Clippers and their rapidly closing window to win a chip, or even the conference finals.

  11. Stop hating on Norm, he said nothing wrong and that clippers team is really good. Let that legend live his life!

  12. Let's get a YeeYeeYee for Precious even showing up to the game today, and putting in a Good Effort, what I'm talking about is the post-game after the Minnesota Games, Nick Nurse threw Precious Achiuwa Under the Boss so Bad, Achiuwa ain't going to be on this team next year, neither with Thad Young. Also, Nick Nurse and FVV shouldn't be on the team next year how childish they have been acting, just watch them and you will see. Powell is just jealous he ain't on this team next year. Surprised Ben you didn't talk about O.G.. not getting the ball in the Fourth Quarter, he would have tied the game, but Siakam passed to Jakob in the post for a two he missed. Post Season, we ain't there yet, no guarantee this team will be in it even with the Wizards finally showing who they really are, and Indiana showed a little spurt, but they have done now too.

  13. This is when I have questions about the coaching decisions on Barton. The guy was released by Washington with a so-so stats. Nurse may want to consider using his young bench guys. I think Raptors fans believe more in Dowtin than Barton. Why are we not seeing more Dowtin in the bench time?

  14. Put weiscamp in at the 2 and keep gtj coming off the bench then have dowtin gtj Barton boucher and koloko coming off the bench

  15. Not many teams can beat the Bucks and at least the Raps came close … I feel they've got an uphill battle against pretty much every team in the top ten grouping, but like you said … a punchers chance it is.

  16. Klay thompson missed 6 total quarters. In the three games he played healthy, the raptors were 2-1. In the 3 games where he missed time, the raptors were 2-1. Literally a non-factor in whether we beat them or not. In fact, im pretty sure the warriors won the one game he missed entirely.

  17. First, injuries are part of the game. A truly well built team has a strong enough bench to make up the difference if an impact player(s) can't play for whatever reason. So only a hater pulls that argument out of his ass if his team doesn't win. An NBA player like Norm should know better than to bring that up. As for the comment about the Bucks and Celtics resting players at the end of the season, could work in our favour. Screw that!!! As a Raptors fan, I can only be truly proud of our wins when they do it against the best players that our opponents were able to put on the floor that night. If we compete, that pride will be there–even in a loss. Fully expecting the Bucks to win, that we competed so hard and gave them a scare earns my respect. On paper, an unstoppable force like Giannis, surrounded by a bunch of very consistent capable shot makers from long range that can actually defend, everyone expected them to win in a blowout fashion. We lost Scottie–one of our most impactful starters with his playmaking and defence–pretty early in the game and gave a fully healthy Bucks team all that they could handle and then some. I'm sending positive energy that Scottie will heal quickly. It was a good game and tip of the cap to the Bucks for taking care of business. Go Raps!!! We the North!

  18. As a toronto raptors super fan I agree that the reason we won was heavily because they didnt have durant and klay. Regardless injuries are part of the game and a chip is a chip

  19. The Raptors had 3-1 lead in that series with a healthy Thompson. GSW won game 5 in Toronto and he got injured in game 6. Game 7 would’ve been played back in Toronto. KD was hurt all playoffs and that didn’t stop the GSW from running thru the west like water. The narrative was they GSW seem like a better team without KD. That’s until they met the Raptors in the finals who also swept the season series against GSW, I might add. That’s a BS narrative that Norm is regurgitating.

  20. Klay only missed 1 game and 1 quarter. They lost 2 games (games 1 and 4) with him. KD was luck but Klaw (leg) and Lowry (hand) both injured through most of the playoffs and no OG. It balances out in the end. Deeper isn’t better, clips suffer from on paper syndrome. On paper they look to be the best team but seeding and stats say otherwise. Not hating on what Norm said, it’s his opinion.

  21. Can we cannot just ask for a player not to be average?? Every time the guys from the bench are just trash. Please just be average and we might just win

  22. Norm… If an injury prone player gets injured is it luck? I love Durant but has he carried a team to a championship? Since he left GSW playoff success and being healthy haven't happened. Klay Thompson played and we beat them regardless. Also, If we're playing injury what ifs do the Raptors get a fully healthy OG, Kwahi, Lowry in 2019?

  23. I'm glad you put up the stat line. If you look at the +/- line Achiuwa has the best one. The team wins nothing without Achiuwa playing.
