    Ty Lue lost this game by overcoaching. Threw in Covington in the 4th quarter instead of Russ who was having a good game. Covington then shoots 1-8 in the 7 minutes he's in.

    My takeaways from this game:
    1) Bench Morris immediately. Idc if it's Batum or Covington starting but Morris needs to be benched.
    2) Russ showed that athleticism and competitive dog is still in him ⚡
    3) Why was there no center in the game towards the end of the 4th? Makes no sense no rebounding.
    4) Russ put back into the game too late.
    5) Bad officiating
    6) The final play should've been Russ bringing the ball up the floor, Kawhi posts up, they double Kawhi and he kicks it out to the open man for either a shot, a drive or a swing.

    That PG injury did not look good. This is the only time I wanted the Clippers to win so that OKC can lose and of course they blew it! Hopefully the Lakers can win tomorrow.

    TF was Kawhi thinking, good defense or not, get the shot up or pass the ball!! Hit or miss, at least you gave yourself a chance but that was a complete waste for a possible game winner smh

    Ty Lou blew this game why u put Russ in 4th so late ? Refs was horrible and kawhi didn’t even get a shot up with 24 sec😤

    Thats why you play every game and practice hard daily. The clippers are notorious for easy no contact workouts and practices and load managing games. Without tough gritty practices and workouts it’s easy for players like Kawhi to get rusty in tough situations. It doesn’t matter what level of nba star you are. You have to play situational basketball and it adds such a level of complexity to a must win game like this one when you’re not trained for tough situations. The Thunder are a very skilled young group who could easily make a playoff push so no discredit to them, but with this clippers roster as loaded with depth as it is, they should be winning these games. Maybe not easily, it might be a challenge, but these should be wins. Tough loss for this LA team who has struggles to find consistency all year long. People talked so highly about the clippers roster once they got Kawhi and PG but now the other team in LA has won a chip since then and have a way better outlook on the future with a lot of players returning next year and two great players entering their prime no matter how long Lebron is their. If these two teams met in the playoffs fully healthy, I’m taking the lakers in 5 or 6. The clippers haven’t handled their injured stars too well and load managing them makes their case worse. It’s sad to see Kawhi possibly wasting years at a historically bad organization. I really question the initial move of going to LA but only time will tell.

    I’ll say it. When SGA has played he’s been the best guard in the league. Okc needs to start going for it and be competitive. Good win for okc.

    Crazy he didn’t let Morris screen, crazy he didn’t give Morris the possible game winning 3…but hey ig the play was wrote up for him to take the game winning shot who knows🤷🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️😊
