Brown has been consistent, Boston media are just obsessed with JT’s size, but 7uice has been a beast all season… if brown has a rough night the media will let it be known, but if JT gets an off night it’s “it’s just one game” but it’s been rough for JT since the all star

Tatum is a higher draft pick I don’t agree but have seen this play out more and more over years. More of a stain on executives if a lottery pick doesn’t work. I like brown better but obviously Tatums upside is tremendous

Jaylen Brown is more consistent of a player than Tatum is. Even in big moments, just look at last years playoffs. They are in the exact same league but to me if I'm picking one or the other, I'm picking Brown. Brown may not have the scoring ceiling of Tatum, but he's right there and he is an elite defender.

Even tho Klay is clearly the #2 behind Steph, Klay is always going to be respected as if he was another #1 … like when he was consulted upon when they added KD for instance. Only asking Tatum implied Brown is being traded for KD and therefore expendable.

Jaylen is as much our number one as JT if not more so in that he can elevate his game and rise to the challenge in the moment. Everytime I say this I get hate comments from dummies saying IDK anything about basketball etc etc. Now you have national media guys essentially saying the same thing even though they can't help themselves saying JT has more upside offensively than JB. I know these people haven't been watching the celts because literally every year Jaylen Brown has improved his game and there is no reason to think he wont keep doing that. JT has regressed a bit this year and I wonder if the Celtics org has noticed who is the more consistent player. Either way we need both of them so give this man his money and whatever else he wants.
As a Boston fan, most of what you hear is the Tatum hype train. It was the same with Pierce before him. Brown is an elite talent, and as much as I would love him always in Boston, I would get him moving on.
Tatum is a better scorer slightly but Brown is way better defender than Tatum. Give me brown over Tatum, why because I like players who compete on both ends of the floor at a high level.
