the organization did a horrible job handling the JB situation. I don't blame him one bit for wanting to leave.
It don't matter. The most high will take care of jay with or without Boston. He's a Hebrew from the tribe of Judah so if he's in Gods favor he'll be okay🕎🙏
Tatum gonna produce an Illmatic? I don't think so.
All these weirdos in the comments lol
A. Jaylen Brown averages just as many shot attempts per game as tatum
B. Jayson tatum is better than jaylen Brown at literally every facet of the game besides mid range shooting…
And jaylen Brown is still arguably a top 10 overall player
That says a lot more about how good Tatum is than anything bad about Brown
Celtics fans guess what? THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY next season free agency Jaylen Brown remains in Boston! He is basically saying he hates being a Celtic lately. The writing is on the wall brotha!!!!!! Jaylen Brown will either be in Atlanta, San Antonio or Memphis next season aka next free agency
Logan looks like he is in a Fatlip music video
Celtics will fumble brown and regret it forever. I don’t even think tatum that loyal to Boston tbh
I always thought JB was going to leave he is not the chosen one like JT to the Boston team..
The Celtics don’t deserve JB
Jaylen is the heart, soul & leader of the Boston Celtics.
Tatum has the pretty finesse game with the liquid smooth moves & at his best he has the potential to get u more points than Jaylen but he’s inconsistent & streaky & that smooth finesse can often turn into softness at times when the team needs to steel up (e.g. the Finals).
think of the Celtics like a turbo charged luxury sports car. Tatum is the wood grain, the leather seats, the sleek body, the turbo charger that kicks u back in the seat when u mash the accelerator…
Jaylen is the motor, stripped down of the frills and the luxury options and bolt-on mods, just consistently giving the Celtics a foundation of winning basketball on both ends of the floor & winning attitude upon which they have an opportunity to build a win every single night.
Jaylen rallies the troops. Jaylen puts his head down & attacks the basket while the rest of the team is taking lazy sidestep/pull up threes.
I pray the day never comes that this team has to choose, but if it ever does Jaylen has the winning intangibles im not sure Tatum has developed yet. Tatum is still in the “focus on individual stats” phase where as long as he gets his 25-30 points nobody can say he didnt contribute, but leading a team is more than that.
JT is significantly better than JB. And that’s ok. JB is still very good. You don’t need to walk on eggshells around these guys to prop up their egos.
😂😂😂😂 constantly clowning franchises for catering to stars and now you’re crying about how your organization doesn’t cater to stars enough…I hope he leaves 😂
Come to Chi City, JB 💯😎
If I was this dude I'd request a trade until Tatum decides to get a damn babysitter
Their gonna give him the max even if he makes 3rd team. (Like 50 mil a year)No brainer. An they never traded him. Kevin Durant is far better than he’ll ever be and they were like nah. I’d rather 10-15 years of brown and Tatum and I agree. Celtics have been offering an extension for years. What a joke to say they don’t appreciate him……
Jaylen Brown is a legitimate #2 on a championship contender. That’s pretty much known at this point. Off the top of my head he’s probably a top 15 player and would be a #1 on over 50% of the teams in the league. Celtics are super lucky to have him. Would love him in OKC alongside Holmgren, JWill and SGA. If he asked out and the Celtics had to trade him prior to FA then id sell the farm outside of those other 3 players if I were OKC
this will not survive
The Celtics are the most overrated franchise. They have 1 championship in the last 35 years.
Kyrie Luka JB big 3!!
Hell yeah, J.Brown is in my book a star. For now he's not that far off for JT. Brown is bloody everywhere on the floor and he's a good defender. And he is clutch more than JT this last couple months
Dope comparison
Jason has more charisma than Jaylen, that's the only reason I can figure they favor him. And that must piss Jaylen off, it would piss me off.
This vid genuinely looks like someone in 2023 talking to someone in 1994.
Its giving me TMac VC vibes
That ATCQ reference is on point
Where ever JB go, I go
Another great terrible video Bill🎉🎉🎉🎉 Amazing
We need the full podcast with Murdock on YouTube !! Or Atleast on Spotify with the camera bill !!!!
I don’t like his complaining but Brown is a phenomenal basketball player
LOL remember when you bood him? I do. I love Bill suffering.
Trade him fro Mika Bridges
I hope JB leaves in FA and goes to Miami with Bam and Butler.
Every single time there are two players on a team whose skillsets or positions overlap, there is always pressure to trade one of them. The mentality is, "we can trade player A because we still have player B, and we can go get what we need."
With Boston, you've got Brown and Tatum but everyone around them is always replaceable. Trade one for another good, quality starter and you still have three expendables. Tatum seems to have bigger highs and bigger lows, but Brown seems more consistent, but let's face it neither one of them has been infallible. For whatever reason, Tatum is considered Batman and Brown is Robin. Tatum gets more love, more shine, more spotlight… and Brown hasn't done anything to make an argument that he's Batman.
Brown wants more love? Show everyone you're more than Tatum.
Tribe called quest comparison is a great one because they even have the demeanor of that group. They're humble, intelligent, smooth. Like Q-Tip, the media and fans have chosen Tatum as the face. He hasn't stepped out and said "I'm the top dog, this is my team." In fact, I actually gained huge respect for him when he struggled and he pushed politely back at the media he basically just said like "I never said I'm a superstar you have all been saying that. I'm still learning and growing as a player." Both guys are just likeable and the media has decided Tatum is the face of the team. Brown is really really good too. It's a very small talent gap. The media has decided.
Jaylen Brown is the next Kawhi… minus the load management
Brown to the Grizzlies in Free Agency
Regardless of what happened behind the scenes, it would have been absolute malpractice for the C's to come out publicly and say they aren't trading him. JB being involved in the rumors, even if he actually wasn't, drives the price up for KD. From the C's standpoint, if a trade went down, they are going to be more concerned with whatever team ends up with KD than the Nets, so driving up the price by leaving that rumor out there is 100% the right play.
Now the behinds the scenes stuff is more tricky, because we don't know for sure if the extent of the rumors, and I can see both sides, but I would have leaned into being honest with JB
What’s funny is Jaylen Brown will be on the Pistons in 24’
