If they want to enforce lane violations, they should start to enforce them. Right now they rarely do. If Mitchell was a split second early here, there were others at the same time that were earlier.
Mitchell did commit a lane violation. As with most things in the NBA the rule is selectively enforced.

I don’t know if any of you guys here know who this lady is on Twitter but she is annoying as hell. She used to be a Cavs fan but is now a Jazz fan because we traded Sexton and Markkanen. She hates the Cavs now and shits on Mitchell all the time. She was saying the other night that Mitchell hit Watanabe in the face when he dunked on him. Of course, she was saying last night Mitchell committed a lane violation. Her name is Keisha W and she comments on Hiram’s Twitter all the time. If you ever need a laugh go and read the dumb shit she says. It’s hilarious. She’s pretty well known by Cavs Twitter I would say, not as well known as Hiram though.
