IMHO, less about THJ the player and more about how shallow we are as a team.

THJ is objectively bad, he’s below average as a defender and is under 34% on 3s this year, which is really his only valuable skill. The Mavs depth and roster is so bad that the alternatives to him are even worse. All of this is because of the terrible contract THJ has (at least its front loaded), along with Bertans (top 3 worst contracts in the NBA).
At this point, its better to tank, pick in the top 10 in a loaded draft, and use the cap space to resign Kyrie and bring in a back up PG and a big that can contest inside.

I mean this is probably more random/sample size than it has to do with THJ, but I will say that I think THJ wins you more games than he loses.
