This game should not have been this close. We need to get better with late game execution consistently.
love a good drama free win
Des Mane 🚂
Second half was a hard watch
A win’s a win
Need Steven Adams ASAP
so uh, onto tomorrow!
Good game from X.
That’s how Ruff Ryder’s roll – X
Got the drama out so we can be focused for the Clips tomorrow.
X gonna give it to ya
refs hit the lick, thats all that matters. well done!
Ridiculous end of game execution issues. Thankfully the Magic were just a liiiittle bit dumber than we were tonight.
Can’t believe they didn’t foul Tillman on that one inbounds…
Tried our best to give it away but got the W. X gave em his career high
7th in a row! Grit and Grind Forever and Ever. On to the next
Man that Franz Wagner mf is starting to get on my nerves
Every fucking game against us he sleepwalks trough the first 3 quarters and then turns into freaking Dirk in the 4th
Whew gotta love basketball for the good and the bad 😂😂🫡🫡good win grizzlies‼️
Jaren was bad most of the second half, Tyus had a bad night, refs genuinely had the spread on FanDuel, Dillon was shot crazy (tightened it up when it counted though), turned the ball over like fucking crazy, and we still got the dub over a Magic team that’s been pretty decent for awhile now.
I’ll take it. Sucks that as sloppy as they played the starters probably still wouldn’t have had to play that many minutes the first night of a B2B if the refs weren’t bending over backwards to keep Orlando in it, but at least Ja will be fresh, and Jaren should be too.
X post-game interview “working on my game and shit every day” ❤️
Man imma eat crow, when Steve went down I said X isn’t a guy that can handle starter minutes as he’s more a 10 minutes per game guy, boy am I glad I was wrong, Love how he’s coming out each game and showing he’s important to this team.
That should’ve been a blow out but fuck it 7 in a row baby
Good things: The First Quarter
Ok Things: The Second and Third Quarters
Bad Things: The Fourth Quarter
Silver Lining to Jaren fouling out: He’ll be fresher for tomorrow nights game against the Clippers
This was definitely a rollercoaster game, with one of the worst 4ths we’ve had in a while, and up there for one of the worst this season. Glad we got out of there with a W.
On to the Clippers!
That was a game Jaren should’ve dominated more. We need him to consistently dominate.
Feels like we just kinda assumed we had it on lock while the Magic kept playing with focus and effort. Luckily Bane is a great FT shooter and hit the majority of them down the stretch (not enough to make it drama free though!)
Magic are no joke honestly, I think next year they make playoffs
When the ball is in the air after shot, I like to watch our players. And man it’s like we don’t even try to crash the boards or boxout except Tillman, Jitty, and Kennard. I miss Steve-O so much.
Bane shot 12-14 in the 4th quarter?
So we only have at most 9 free throws before the 4th quarter? Goodness
Every game here’s the foul distribution on Jaren: 2 ticky tac fouls, 1 horrendous call against him, 2 dumb fouls by him (one offensive, one defensive). And then sometimes he fouls out with 1 more of any one of the aforementioned categories
Great game by X, and Bane was thankfully the only one who showed up in the 4th.
But I don’t think we win a bad Tyus/JJJ/Dillon game like this without Luke.
Damn Jones had a really bad shooting game.
