That can’t happen right now because Bags coming off the bench leaves a big void in paint defense.
If we had Beef Stew then him and Bags coming off the bench would make sense.
no worries Duren is their man, and as far as big men go stew is probably most safe..so its a smart move to start wiseman n bagley to show case them..maybe trades can happen in summer..Duren starts ,wiseman is a back up center…if we get miller he will play the 4…miller bogdan, cade,ivey duren..
You packed alot in there about Duren and Wiseman starting. Let's step back a little. I'm all for Duren and Wiseman starting together but I don't want it just yet. We are tanking and trying to get the best draft pick, 5th at worst. Also Duren has been hurt and missed a few games since. So why press his playing time. Also if Casey made that switch and they stared winning. People would be clambering.
The pistons keep trading for similar players who get in each others way. Duren should start in the future he will average 1 or 2 blocks. And he is great with Offensive rebounds he will be at a double double easily. But the pistons aren't developing our guys to their strengths. Ivey still doesn't get many touches he should be averaging 19 or 22. Duren is a solid passer but the pistons want to be like other teams. Shoot 3s which we suck at. We can abuse teams and make them expend energy with our slashing. Bagley was a bad signing from the start they overpaid and could have gotten him cheaper. A two big lineup cant work if both bigs dont shoot. And Wiseman tries more to shoot. Teams will still leave him open from 3. This team acts like we are playoff or play in bound. Which we wont be this team is even more barren. How many solid players who are staying??

If you get 2 you take Brandon Miller. Not only is he the fit he also has the talent. What is generational about Scoot? He's just another athletic guard that can't shoot and doesn't defend.
Let me ask you if we got Wembanyama and if Wiseman can develop outside shot. Don't say he can't develop into a decent 3pt shooter. He is shooting less than one attempt per game. Brooke Lopez shot less attempts and made a lower percentage until his last year with the Nets. My question is could Wembanyama play the small forward. I believe he is physically skilled and fluid enough to play the 3. If it works offensively i think it can work , the defense be one of the best in the league. It would give Cade and Ivey more leeway to play on ball because if they get beat they have a front court that will back them up. What's your opinion?

I think the pistons are just trying to showcase everyone they’ve taken flyers on as much as possible before the seasons over. I think everyone other than cade,ivey, and duren should be shopped this off season and none of them should be safe. I trust in weaver and think he has something up his sleeve. Just pray we land wemby and dont have to see what they choose to do with any other pick besides #1🤣🤞🏽

I will say this I agree with you on the big man lineup and Duren needing to be starting. I don't agree with you on the assessment of the big man lineup.
1. It's too small a sample to compare to all the other big man lineups in the league. You have to stop making such sweeping conclusions like it's the worst in the league when neither has played enough next to each to develop any type of chemistry.
2. Cade hasn't played with the big man lineup yet so we won't truly know how effective it is until he returns.
I understand why bagley starts. They’re showcasing him to trade him in the off season or before the draft. Also they’re tanking. Ku you think they don’t know that lineup sucks? They’re keeping Duran. Wiseman and bagley are playing for they’re future. I get it. I actually think bagley has been playing good. He just can’t stay healthy
