Team just falls asleep on teams that are trash and wake up for great teams. You can’t afford to sleep on garbage teams cause we need the 1 seed now
The Celtics played NO defense. Other than Marcus Smart, everyone else was lazy and tired. The wizards had wide open 3's, they were getting by their man and having clean layups and did whatever they wanted. The Celtics defense is no where near what it was last year, and this might be their demise this year
I'll be a C's fan til I die but this group's lack of effort and refusal to learn from their mistakes make them really hard to root for.
I think that Porzingis was the best player on the court this game. The Celtics just caved and played like they did not want the 1 seed heading into the playoffs. By the way, I'm a Bucks fan

I haven't watched the whole game yet but when I tuned in there was about 8 minutes left Celts down by about 13 points, plenty of time left to mount a comeback and the starters were done for the night. Whats going on? I checked the box score no one was in foul trouble they were shooting ok, so obviously the defensive effort was off. Was Joe trying to teach the starters a lesson or something? Or saving them for Milwaukee game? Usually he'll ride those guys for 40 minutes each no matter how tired or bad they're playing – now he sits them? This guy has no clue no consistency in rotations, and absolutely no ability to motivate. One game he says let them play and figure it out for themselves, next game he empties the bench they make a comeback and he decides its a good night to give his starters half the night off. Can we please get a professional NBA coach for these guys? I'm so tired of this amateur coach and his excuses. There are so many times when the coach gets blamed for poor effort from his players – this isn't one if them. If there s an award for worst coach of the year Joe should get it in a walk.

Im really not concerned at all bout this team it’s always been the case for them when it’s against teams that are clearly not close to us in team skill we just lose straight simply because the players don’t care bout the lower teams they just don’t care but once it’s the real teams they come to play they just don’t care much bout these lower teams it’s that simple it’s not a excuse because yea no excuse they should win regardless but it’s apparent the low energy and not caring on possessions or no defense they just simply don’t care bout these lower teams but it’s not a coincidence they always show up in the big matchups in the season, that’s just this team mindset which it shouldn’t be that but it’s just us that’s why I’m not worried come playoffs they will show up but they need to beat these lower teams because this seeding matters these guys always make it tough on themselves by taking the tough route to make a long playoff push
