It’s the 4th quarter of game 7 in TD Garden. Jimmy Butler has 38 points, Tatum is shooting 6/19, and the Celtics keep jacking up and missing 3s. With under 2 minutes remaining, Max Strus hits consecutive three pointers to put the game out of reach, and to send Miami to the second round.

This is not the ideal path. Grinding out 6 or 7 games in the first round is going to hurt later on. 😮💨

You know this team has really changed my outlook on things this year.
For instance, I now think bullying is a positive thing and can’t wait for Jimmy Butler to bully them in the first round. They deserve it.

This is assuming the heat win the first play in game against the hawks or raptors though. We’ll play one of those 3 teams in the first round. Hawks have a lot of talent but they’re not very physical and aren’t defensively sound. The raptors and heat would be a nightmare first round matchup.

Miami’s roster stinks
The Celtics did this to themselves by not winning games they should have. Not playing defense. Not playing with pace on offense. Not sharing the ball every game. Not caring about the little things consistently enough to win games. And now they must pay the price by going against one of the teams that has given them a lot of trouble in recent memory. Spo owns Mazulla. Jimmy Butler plays like prime Jordan against us. It’s gonna be a long series.
