This is why you never trade your depth away for star power. Kyrie is an amazing offensive player, but he's not worth giving up Dinwiddie and DFS, who was their best scorer (besides Luka) and 3&D player they had. Also, putting Luka and Kyrie together would not work because both of them are ball dominant players who need the ball in their hands to be effective. Either Kyrie or Luka would have to sacrifice and play off-ball if this duo wish to be successful, D Wade had to sacrifice playing alongside LeBron, Curry had to sacrifice playing alongside KD, and likewise Kyrie would have to sacrifice to play alongside Luka. But we all know Kyrie has never been the greatest teammate to play with ever since he left Cleveland.
