Lol this dude needs some PR training. This quote and the “I don’t run plays for Jabari” quote just make him look awful

I already see where this sub is going to go with this. Everyone is going to shit on Silas for these comments like his assistants are better off, but the one thing I came away impressed with Silas is the structure of his timeouts.
Time out is called and Lucas gathers the team on the sideline and talks to them, while Silas gathers the other coaches at the free throw line. About half way through the timeout Silas sits with the team and goes over the instructions.
Whatever you want to say about him as a coach, you have to respect that he makes sure everyone is involved in the process and that he does respond to the input from his assistants.

He knows that he’s doomed and he’s trying to get his staff hired.

Abdelfattah taking over as HC when Silas gets canned next season would be the dream. Unfortunately he’s probably below Lucas in the pecking order here.

I feel like he noticed what he was saying and couldn’t turn back.

This is the guy people are gonna be mad at us for firing? For real?

Silas shouldn’t have left Dallas

A guard guard pick and roll isn’t obvious so I don’t see what everyone is freaking out for

A boss that gives credit to his team instead of taking all the glory…… you guys would be lucky to have a boss like this at your workplace, yet some are calling him out for doing so….smh

Abdelfattah should’ve been coach since the ASB
