[Jace Frederick] KAT: “I got a lot of things to say tomorrow at practice. I’m gonna go in there and do what I gotta do, speak up for our team. I know the words I say will help us win games. So I’m just trying to do that. That’s all I’m gonna say. Keep it in the locker room.” No, I have no idea

Man…. one legged AD just daddy dicked you. If anyone needs to be called out, it’s you KAT.

  2. jthering

Definitely a weird quote but seems kinda shady for Jace to comment on it like that

Someone needs to call KAT out on his ball movemnet. He is a willing passer but the ball stops at him to much. To often it’ll swing to him or it’s a designed post up and KAT wants to take his time and survey the defence instead of making a quick decision. He is always looking to iso

Seems pretty unnecessarily dramatic but go off Purr

Is it a coincidence that Finch has mentioned in every post-game presser after KAT’s been back about how bad our ball movement is. EVERY GAME he says it’s “sticky”, and this was an issue last year too.

KAT destroys our free flow offense / ball movement. He holds it for 15 seconds at a time on a lot of possessions. We are legitimately a smoother offense with Anderson in with the starting unit over KAT.

But of course he has no self-awareness as per usual.

KAT needs some self awareness. Love his shooting, but he leaves a lot to be desired with his dumb and lazy plays. Same with Ant

I asked the GSW subreddit if they were interested in trading for KAT and the top comment in response was “no, he is a headcase.”

Let that sink in. The center who would be the perfect fit for their team is not wanted because of his emotional IQ.

KAT is slow to think. These quotes are evidence that there is not much going on up there other than thinking of what he is going to say or do. The ball gets to him and he has to think through what to do. It sucks.

I thought KAT did some meditation self reflection shit when he was out . No self awareness . If you look at ant quotes , they’re always lifting people up

  10. rugonnabelievemenow

Brit said it best, both KAT and Ant think their singular force of nature is always the answer to adversity. It’s not and when this team moves the ball we look like an elite team. Like WCF elite.

Unfortunately I just don’t think we’re going to get there this year but if we keep this core I really do think we go into 2024 playoffs with home court advantage.

Why didn’t you say something earlier? I mean I applaud the leadership but if there was something to be said that could be transformative for the team… it probably would have made sense to say it…IN THE BEGINNING OF THE FUCKING SEASON WHEN WE HAD THE SAME PROBLEMS!

  12. clars701

I really dislike quotes like this. They feel like a forced attempt at leadership. Does anyone else on our team say shit like this? The right thing to say here is “I’ve got to be better for our team.”

  13. badnewzrooz507

Would be best if he didn’t say anything. Anytime he tries to lead, eyes roll.

  14. Jamessthehuman

God this sub is so fucking bad why did I come back

  15. twinsguy1

The comments in this thread are a dumpster fire. So many people just waiting to pounce after one bad game. A game he played sick.

He gave a dumb quote, so what? They had a tough loss and he is gonna talk during practice, how is that bad?

The way a certain segment of this sub and fan base reacts to KAT is gross. You can criticize him for sure, but to act like he is the main reason for the loss last night is stupid.

  16. SlimReaperSlinky21

Hope he brings up what he was thinking about that ugly 3pt shot. Bum

  17. Apostinggod

Please get this dude off the team. I was enjoying a world without dlo and his stupidity.

  18. Orangucantankerous

I think we are starting to see how we might get some first rounders back

He thinks he’s a coach, that’s gotta make him easy to coach

  19. Auineedabandaid

I hope one is please cover your mouth when coughing and take more time when washing your hands. Sickness is killing this team.

  20. VikingsandWolves

Shouldn’t need a pep talk at this point in the season. I’ll give credit to KAT for trying to lead but it just comes off so unnatural sometimes. I feel like he tries to say the things we want to hear sometimes as fans but he’s done this before and nothing changes about his play personally so it’s hard to take it seriously.

  21. “I got a lot of things to say tomorrow at practice about hand sanitizer. I’m gonna go in there and do what I gotta do, speak up for our team’s use of hand sanitizer. I know the words I say and hand sanitizer we use will help us win games. So I’m just trying to do that. That’s all I’m gonna say. Keep hand sanitizer in the locker room.”

  22. Skolcialism

Not sure why you kat haters watch at all

  23. I don’t remember any of you morons saying any of this negative shit about KAT for the first week he was back. This sub is filled with a bunch of casuals man it’s fucking insufferable. I hate that I keep coming back here

  24. tulaero23

He will probably say sorry for the times he holds the ball 10 secs drives and throw an errant pass.

  25. JimmyWasRight

There it is. Dude is pushing 30 and still doesn’t know what accountability is.

  26. becker4prez

I’m a Hornets fan that lives in Minnesota and have a have friends that are Wolves fans.

Can someone explain to me the doom and gloom we see from this team after each loss? Everything is so dramatic.
