That’s what I’ve been saying for a while.
Giannis is my pick. He’s so clearly the best player in the league, and he’s led his team to the best record in the league. Did he have help? Yeah, but so did his competitors. Also, people talk so much about how badly Giannis needs Brook defensively, but nobody talks about how bad Brook needs Giannis. Giannis’ godlike help defence is the main reason their scheme with Brook has been so successful.
If Perk is voting for Giannis that’s all the confirmation we need to know Giannis won’t win.

Look Kendrick is paid to be a professional dumbass, but Giannis is an entirely reasonable selection. Very good cases can be made for Giannis and Jokic and Embiid, and while I’d probably vote Embiid if I had the choice, they’re really all deserving this year.
