So do the Clips keep him over the off-season, by keep him I mean pay him lol

He fits in because the Clippers are the real Basketball team in LA, Lakers represent the brand of Los Angeles which is very much a global thing like Hollywood’s movies are. The Clippers are a regular NBA team with shoddy local media coverage unless they are doing very well, they don’t have their postgame pressers on ESPN but the fans are also mature unlike the spoiled lakers fans who can only talk about winning and being the “best”. Russel is UCLA guy and trust me nobody there supported the Clip show because the kids who go there are just looking for some of that Los Angeles vibes with the purple and gold. But the blue collar nature of the city and the people who live their understand that we ain’t ever gonna be a rolls royce type global phenomenon like the lakers. But the clippers represent the soul of LA and as LA has become so developed in comparison to other metropolis in the US, its makes complete sense that he would fit in where he not only is supposed to be but also where he belongs. Our fans have never seen any success, our new fans also haven’t seen any success, the culture they are building could be monumental in dethroning the Lakers especially with the new stadium built for basketball and not hockey.

Being happy, wanted and supported makes a difference in performance. Who would have thought…

He was ready to accept any role. That’s a huge part of it.

Sure, there’s that stuff, but it’s also because he’s mostly fixed his guide hand on his jumpshot. I don’t know if it was mental, or he’s done it at the prodding of the shooting coach of the Clippers, but there’s a noticeable difference in his guide hand between most of the shots he makes now and the ones he misses.

I mean the lakers gave up all of their depth to trade for a 34 year old past their prime making 47 mil a year in a salary cap league
The clippers got him for free to play the exact position of need lol
baqlouf
Sure has been great at elevating them from 4 seed to borderline playin.
