Is it a win as far as the potential future of the team? YES.
It would be unbelievable if the Pistons get to draft Wemby.
The whole season is a win. We have a top 5 pick secured, we’re getting back Cade, and if we don’t land a top wing or Wemby we’ll have cap to find a mid tier to top vet.
I swear my Hornet's have to be the dumbest organization in basketball. We were three games from the last spot and go on a fkn 4 game winning streak, when a possible generational talent is in the draft

Draft lottery should be more transparent and aired in real time. They try making it dramatic by pulling the balls and then revealing the results in reverse order.. but probably also so they can rig it when it suits them. Houston will get their next great big guy, I bet.

There's no advantage to not having the worst record.
Whether we are the worst or second worst, our odds at a top 3 pick are the exact same. If we're the second worse, YES we have a smaller chance at getting 5, BUT that chance is allocated to getting even worse than 5
Literally nothing changes except we can also drop below 5. Doesn't lower our odds of picking top 4.
Math is not your buddy. You would rather have the same odds of the top three picks but have a less chance of getting the 5th pick because you have odds to now have the 6th pick, if you finished second???
