dynasty has to be more than one succession
From Michigan king 👑 Isiah bad boys was a dynasty it started 87 all the way to 1990.
Zeke smoking
Westside
🤔I'm sorry but the Bad Boy Pistons are a Dynasty! I think Isiah is being humble. Because they did win 3 in a row! But the refs at the end of game 6 in 1988 didn't let the Pistons officially record that Championship. And the Bad Boy Pistons could have EASILY won 4 in a row!! Because in 1987 the Piston's had the great Celtics beat in game 7 until Adrian Dantley ( leading Scorer) and Vinnie "Microwave" Johnson collided while diving for a lose ball at he end of the 3rd quarter while the Pistons were ahead in the Boston Garden. A.D. literally got knocked out. And was carted off on a stretcher. And the Pistons lost that game 7 by only 3. The Pistons were the better team.. PERIOD !
steph curry only scores???
It was a dynasty. They were cheated by the refs out of their 1st title.
The 80s Lakers and 80s Celtics were dynasties, they don't need 3 in a row…….Tragic won 5 championships, that's a dynasty.
Just "GOING" is not a ring.
True story.
Let me start by saying Isaiah Thomas is one of the best players to do it. If he played now he would kill the league as he did when he played. BUT there is no team and I mean no team out here like we modeled our game after the Pistons.
You can only expect the truth from Westside Zeke
Isiah acts like curry doesn’t get assists as well lol, i don’t know why people still put Isiah in talks with Curry respectfully. In my opinion Curry has already surpassed him and is in talks with Magic as the greatest PG of all time.
Damn! Straight!!!!!
They weren't dynasties take 3 or more they couldn't get it done
My thing is how do you beat dynasties and not be one yourself, thats my question. They had their time in history as well so give it to them.
The Pistons were much more than a dynasty. If the world was fair, Isiah would've undoubtedly been the greatest of all time. As far as I'm concerned, he's the all-time GOAT
Man's really called Bill Lamb a stretch 5. Bill never shot 40% and shot more than 1 3pg 4 times in however long he played. Stretch where?
Would you consider the San Antonio Spurs a Dynasty, they won 5 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 in 15 years (within 1999 – 2014) or just a great organization that won allot of Championships within two decades?
He's right. The bulls were a dynasty. The Lakers and celtics to some extent
The more Zeke was explaining his definition the more it sounded like it he was talking about MJ🤣
Lakers and Celtics weren't dynasties when they got there they were more I'll say established. Celtics were royalty Lakers became royalty but they weren't current dynasties. Just my opinion
3 or more in a certain time frame I thought was a dynasty
This is why I have a problem with these podcasts
They never contradict them at all and they can spew all kinds of nonsense
Dude in the history of basketball we dont speak of you/bad boys has ppl who impacted the game
There’s no ways you can claim the stretch 5 that we see today and say Bill Lambeers pioneered it
It’s the same as Paul pierce saying he made the step back shot relevant 🤦🏾♂️
Wrong Boston won chaiompchips from 1957 to 1969
Isaiah's Pistons are not the most impactful team lol smh, and I'm talking about their style of play. Isaiah is very passive aggressive. How is he gon say the Pistons are the most impactful team, but then say Magic and Bird saved the NBA. And finally Isiah isn't on Stephen Curry's level. And I hate that Stephen isn't a traditional point guard argument. Isiah led his team in shot attempts just like Stephen. Also Stephen controls the pace of the game like all great point guards do. He just did it away we have never seen before. Finally Stephen Curry and the warriors have changed the game. Stephen has anyone shooting three's. But sorry Isiah, Stephen Curry as player along with his accomplishments puts Steph several levels above you.🤷
He’s my guy but for him to say Steph just scores is absolute blasphemy bruh
Wembanyama is coming. Don't worry.
As an NBA fan and historian IMO, how does one become most impactful. Lakers could have been the first team to 3-peat but for swept by the Pistons. With that being said The teams with the banners in the 80’s were the most impactful teams!! Lakers and Celtics. Pistons won when the Lakers and Celtics were in decline due to aging, fatigue ( lot of playoff series) and injuries.
You gotta win at least 3 to be a dynasty. Shaq and Kobe were a dynasty. Bulls, Spurs, Dubs, Lakers/Celtics in the 80's. The most you could say the Bad Boys were a dynasty of the Eastern Conference. Going to the ECF 5 years in a row and The Finals 3 years in a row.
Man that's actually a really great point… of all the incredible 6'0 floor generals (Chris Paul, John Stockton, etc.), he is the only guy that's led a team to a chip playing that way. Not a lot of normal-sized guys that were pass first won a chip. Can't really think of any others.
Zeke knows damn well the Bad Boys were a dynasty. They got cheated by the lakers in game 6 and 7. Lost some respect for him not saying it like it is
Kobe and Shaq won 2 and were gifted by the refs 1. Stop capping
They were a dynasty of knocking the Bulls out of the playoffs though. They had 3-peat of sending the Bulls home. Nothing the media golden child and fanboy favorite on the Bulls did stopped that 3-peat either. Only when Thomas had a hurt wrist and the Pistons were depleted did the Bulls finally get beyond them on the 4th try.
No I think they are a Dynasty in my book, I think in the NBA if you had several years making playoff runs and then making 3 straight finals and winning 2 you're a Dynasty.
To have a dynasty the pieces have to change; it can’t be the same group. When Klay Steph and draymond won again with another group of players. Jordan, Pippen won 3-peat then again with another supporting cast. Lakers and Celtics are dynast franchises because they have won multiple championships with different groups of players. The dynasty struggles at times, but it makes its way to prominence again and again.
The question is, how many piece exactly have to change to qualify.
delusional
Could not disagree more. But if I was him I'd probably have the same opinion. Bias is real.
The Bad Boys deserve ALOT more respect than they get. Zeke not being ranked top 10 all-time when he's top 3 pound for pound all-time is criminal.
