Wherever the Clips, Pels, TWolves, and Thunder place is irrelevant because they're all irrelevant. None of those teams will advance. I don't understand my Clips wanting to try to win tonight? To beat our chest we beat the Lakers for 11th straight? We don't hang banners for that. There is nothing to salvage from this season. If we get the Kings, we'll still lose to them.
The Clippers are the Nets and Sixers of the West. They enabled Kawhi and Paul George to do whatever they want. Got us nothing like KD & Kyrie did for Brooklyn. We also have the worst bad luck like the Sixers. Always an injury around the corner at the worst possible time. Perennial playoff underachievers. Clippers needs to give us constant brilliance. Not flashes of brilliance.
I knew within the first two weeks we were terrible and something wasn't right. Not all Clippers fans are blind and stupid. The first red flag came against OKC. We lost to them twice in Oct. I read we had less attendance this year. I guess because people are getting sick and tired of all the load management and inconsistencies. Why pay all that money when we know one of the stars isn't playing? Kawhi played the Clippers like a fool. Brought a bad culture to us.
Overrated Ty Lue constantly mismanaged the lineups where he'll use 3 guards and we'd get murdered in the paint to rebound or protect the rim. Clippers were 10-4 before we got WRECKBRICK but then Ty decides to give 30+ minutes to a BUYOUT player. Mann lost his starting job when he was doing great for us. Clippers threw it all away for WRECKBRICK.
The new pieces like Gordon, Hyland, and Plumlee did not really improve us. Trading Reggie and Luke still hurts. We never found an identity this year. We don't excel in any area. Couldn't win more than 5 straight games because someone had to load manage. When we were good on defense, we were terrible on offense. When we improved our offense, we became terrible on defense. Then all the 1-on-1 stuff Kawhi likes to do he learned from Kobe and inspired from MJ.
We would keep resting and resting our players and for what? To watch Paul George get injured again? We had a game in Orlando we should've won but Paul George had a minutes restriction and couldn't play in OT. It's stupid decisions like that is why where we are is where we are. Mediocrity purgatory. We were 4 games above 500 at best during the weakest part of our season. That was going nowhere fast.
Serious question, are the Clippers medical staff secretly Lakers fans or Klutch clients? We passed on Michael Porter Jr. thanks to a Clipper doctor telling us NO. We constantly lost games because of stupid load management requirements or minutes restrictions. Then when we rest our players, they still get hurt. Clippers have never been healthy since getting Kawhi and PG. The star-less 2019 Clippers was a much better TEAM than this 2023 Clippers that has "stars".
Give it up, Dippers. The Zippers needs to zip it. We added WRECKBRICK who subtracts more from us than he gives. Paula Georgina has a man crush with Kobe and Russ. Dude is soft as Charmin'. Kawhi and PG act so self-entitled. No wonder Montrezl said what he said. But we're stuck with this unavailable PG13% fool because we need to keep Kawhi happy. Kawhi and PG just want to live in LA and collect Ballmer's money.
We fired Doc but kept two guys he hired: Tyronn Lue & Lawrence Frank. Now watch it be a Lakers-Sixers Finals. Watch Doc win a ring while Clippers' season was over by the play-in since we suck against teams like OKC, NOLA, and Minny. Basically, we suck against any team in the league not named the Lakers. Beating the Lakers in meaningless regular season games is our only pride and joy in the Kawhi era. "Yay! We beat the Lakers again! Bring out the champagne!" 🥂

I thought Markieff Morris was big for the Lakers that season. Clippers overpaid for the better Morris twin but is getting nothing from him as of late. That Lakers team were also BIG. AD, Dwight, and JaVale are towers. LeBron is 6'9. Kuz is 6'8. Keef is 6'8 but could play as a stretch 5.
If the 2023 Lakers fails this postseason, it's because they are like the Kings. Many of the Lakers have never felt that level of high pressure before. Anthony Davis won't miss free throws in a quiet gymnasium back in 2020. But he will when the arena is filled with fans.
