Well, if he offered the $55M contract, he never would have gotten involved 🤷🏽‍♂️

  2. LouisFuton

Lol get fucked Mark. God I hate this guy.

  3. cesarjulius

why did it reach free agency, mark? did he turn down the extension you offered as soon as he was eligible?

  4. starks3_

This is why I’m glad that speaks the most for the franchise is Thibs.

  5. Typical. Can point the finger at everyone but himself. He treated Brunson’s resigning as if it were an episode of Shark Tank with the “take it or leave it” mentality. Just wait until the rumblings start that Luka wants out.

Ayooo get the fuk outta here with this shit man

Just found enemy number one now.

    Sore loser ass motherfucker

  7. MixAutomatic

😒this dude has retained only ONE significant player his entire time as owner and obviously it was an outlier, dude sucks at running the mavs and would be a laughingstock if not for Dirk

  8. DSU_BTSTU

We paid RJ 4/105, we’re going to pay IQ 4/100, and this guy couldn’t bring himself to sign Jalen Brunson to 4/55. Lmao

  9. HeyItsAlshawn

    That’s right Mark, keep going!

SMH. Blaming family members! That’s low. Almost as low as KP’s brother.

Can you imagine people’s opinion of Cuban if the Mavs never drafted Dirk? I hope it’s not forgotten how much of a hometown discount Dirk was willing to give Cuban to be on a competitive team.

  12. NYerInTex

The Knicks got a lotta shit for “overpaying”

Talk about a weak ass whiny ass bitch – and I used to really like Cuban.

Isn’t this the same dude who locked deandre Jordan or I think it was Jordan in a hotel room so he wouldn’t have contact with the outside world?

Dallas could have done a sign and trade – perhaps even for Randle. But instead they dated NYC to clear cap space, which NY did.

  15. obviousbearfucker

I grew up in Dallas and thats my 2nd team. Watching Michael Finley not only leave, but going to the spurs hurt. Losing Brunson destroyed the Mavs for a while. And that hurt worse. But Damn does it feel fucking amazing to have the Knicks as a 5 seed. I havent been this locked in to the playoffs in years.

Sounds like someone who lost his punching bag

  17. printergumlight

Ricks a real one then. Thanks, Rick!

Cuban really messed up on Nash,Brunson,Kyrie and soon to be doncic

  19. Yeah what a piece of shit. Imagine a man get advice and emotional support from his <check notes>…father…🤪

  20. culturebarren

Maybe he just wanted to leave a dysfunctional workplace

  21. DrMegashi

Should’ve offered him that bag Mark, especially for how he showed up when it mattered most, THE PLAYOFFS. The Knicks saw how much he was worth, your loss.

  22. butimnotahooper

Oh boohoo let me play a sad song on the world’s smallest violin

  23. TheBottomPilot

This’ll soon be forgotten when Kyrie walks and Luka announces he has Type 2

  24. Sad-Ad2030

Jalen grew up around the Knicks, Thibs and Rose. He was always coming

  25. Lol Mark Cuban is a whiny bitch who gets pissy when he loses.

  26. nazrmo78

Parents sometimes influence decisions. Nothing to see here folks

  27. angeloko

I also want to note that the Russ Hanneman character on Silicon Valley was based on Cuban.

  28. Notdwright

Kinda ironic when you think about the Mavs getting Porzingis because his brother got involved

  29. Ziglet_mir

It’s almost head scratching how this same guy improved the overall value of the Mavs since buying them in 1999/2000. I suppose that isn’t hard either if it was a poverty franchise before and retaining the one star he ever had at the time with decent talent. Almost a miracle they beat that Heat team in 2011/2012. Maybe I’m talking over my head.

  30. BikeByDesign

Funny how things went south when he and Mavs management got involved with KPs brother. Are you paying flat earther or na?

  31. Coolio1014

That sounds something a predatator would say. It sounds like Cuban is mad he couldn’t take advantage and get him for 50% less and exploit a young talented player by lowballing him

  32. capitalistsanta

this is a really pricky thing to say if he said it in the way this headline implies. For some people trying to compete for a nba championship with your dad is a dream. Also shitting on players relationships with their dad (lol) isn’t gonna win your over many FA tbh. Your roster is dick cause it was our dick roster 3 years ago. Players around the league and the media like the Brunson’s a lot. You’ll never hear a bad thing in the media about Jalen. Also based on the story Jalen told, he wasnt even offered a low-ball that he himself said he would have been willing to sign, last January, until the Mavs, around Feb-March, saw him play well and figured that they could possibly retain him on a steal contract and he obviously said no to test his value in free agency, and they didn’t even offer him a contract in the end lol. Only person Mark Cuban has to blame for not signing JB is Mark Cuban for not offering him a fair contract. Yeah we hired his dad, and it’s because we saw Jalen as a piece we wanted to develop, and told him that with that pick up, on top of offering him starting PG for the Knicks money.

  33. They could have signed him for half of what we got him. That playoff run helped him a lot. Feels like we got him back for the Porzingas trade, and if they somehow make the play in, that trade would have also backfired for them too.
