No three players have clocked more time on the court together this season than Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, and Nikola Vucevic.
And the Bulls will still finish below .500.
That's got to be one of the most telling stats of the year.

I don’t know how anyone can be in favor of running this back next year. Our 3 best players all played 70+ games and we are still in 10th.

You just can’t win games consistently when 3/5 of your starters and your 3 best players are all bad to terrible defenders. If they’re not going to completely blow this team up, they need to replace Vuc with a legit good defender. Idc if he can’t shoot, as long as he’s a lob threat it should be fine. In saying this though Ik they’ll just run back these 3 because of some bullshit about not have a real point guard for 102 games.
Honestly the more I watch the more I’m convinced the issue is DeRozen. The dude has outright won games for this team many times, but he’s oftentimes just too slow to make decisions, isn’t as good a passer as people claim, and is far too used to playing hero ball to fit next to other great players. If you swap him out for someone serviceable but not on his level, like Kyle Kuzma, this team would be way better off.
Not having an NBA-level starting PG for 2/3rds of the year really didn’t help either.
I’m in favor of getting rid of all three of these cats. Major incompetence.
Dommovan said it himself “we can’t defend the 3 because we are trying to protect the middle.” Covering for Vucevic.
He is a likeable guy and I was happy to get him. But like most things after looking back I was wrong. I was just happy to have a name I recognized on the team to he honest.
Not only is Vuc bad but we lost that trade like by a lot.
CONTINUITY! Let’s give them another year.
