The time frame between him getting the ball and him shooting it is basically the same in every shot, only thing that changes is whether the defender tries or not
Bro he had the same release the whole time. I mean he's still getting better at shooting with a hand in his face but his release didn't get quicker the defender didn't try as hard on shots he got off
kids nowadays don’t understand you gotta jump, it’s called a jumper, jump shot for a reason! He barely elevates on this catch and shoot option, but in reality or in a game you’d have to really elevate to shoot over the closing out defender !
Unless it's super late in the shot clock ain't nobody finna jump at the corners like that 😂 if they do that's a pump fake and a blow by. But ig it's still helpful to have a quick release
Tbh that’s kinda gonna mess up the way he already shoots if you she someone is trying to block your jumper just pump fake then go to the hole, step in for a middy, or shoot the three.

Why not work on the pump fake side step its no reason to shoot over a player over committing on a close out
I remember going to a Pistons game in and the Celtics were in town. The Celtics had Eddie House at the time
and he was a 3pt shooter.
His release in person was so fast on the catch and shoot…it was like one motion from catching and shooting as if he was just throwing it
He just stopped trying to block it
Teach him to go pump fake baseline and he will have a better career
coach dpin the wrong pose
He's literally jumping before he has a shot attempt on some shots lol.
In that situation you pump fake, he already has a fast release too
Start with knees bent. Practice klay Thompson no dip shooting
Set your feet before the ball touches your hands young fella.

This works If the only move dude can make is a shot. In a real game he would mostly likely pump fake and drive or side step

When I watch this all I can say is damn Ben Simmons 😑
🤣🤣🤣🤣
The blocker needs to be a lil further away tho he could barely even get the shot off and it was still getting blocked
Basketball changed now kids force this contested 3 instead of quick pump fake dribble drive 14 footer or dish to the big
That's amazing, I would urge all scorers to learn how to make a point guard stop jumping to guard. That's real talent.😅😅
This a real message to not lose confidence💪
the ppl in the comments don't understand this isn't a real game it's a drill ofc the defender isn't gonna try to take off his head😭
Try a pump fake lol

Amazing training techniques ‼️🔥🔥🔥💎
Lol if he had any type of jump shot they would be unblockable😂
Bro .. is that RASHEED WALLACE??!!
He didnt find the rythm, the defender stopped blocking….

Is it just me or did the defense change when he "found his rhythm." Why not start with a normal closeout, then progress to a jumping defender?
