D’Angelo Russell says he’ll have to manage foot soreness for remainder of season. The Lakers were boosted by the return of D’Angelo Russell on Wednesday, but his left foot injury is one he’ll likely have to manage the rest of the season.

  1. Bruh what? There’s 2 games left? Play in / playoffs have no b2bs or anything

Wtf is this w this team and feet injuries??

  2. mordenak

Got 3 starters all managing foot injuries lol, sheesh.

  3. Rentfreelakerfan

What’s up with all the foot soreness this season, not just this team but all around the league. Holy shit

  4. foozbinjex

If im being honest with myself, I think the Lakers dug themselves too deep a hole pre-trade deadline. Not just record wise, but wear and tear and lack of team continuity, including the coaching staff having a whole season to experiment with lineups and being prepared for how teams game plan for them. Whatever we do in the post season would be a pleasant surprise but next season is where we really can come back healthy and ready to hit the ground running.

Heard Jorge Sedano say on ESPNLA that he has callouses that are infected? His source was Darvin Ham apparently lol

  6. bennybiceps7

This headline says the same thing twice

  8. senshi_of_love

Dlo needs to see the Lebron James of feet.

  9. CheepWhisky

He be sayin that cuz he only like playin bbal part time

  10. RandomCriss

What the fuck. We can’t have anything nice in LA I swear. 3 foot injury and our inconsistent 3s

  11. mordenak

Gonna have to go out and hire the “LeBron James of feet” for the medical staff at this point.

It must be really bothering him. Plus after Minnesota, I’ve noticed teams have been putting their best defender on him. Smart but we’re feeling it

  13. kiboyski

So it means he plays every other game in the playoffs

  14. tmacleon

Whatever happens this season, next season we better keep the majority of this team intact. AD, Lebron, D-Lo, AR, Vando, Rui, and Dennis… Beasley is a toss up for me.

  15. Awanderingleaf

I am glad that you repeated that he’ll have to manage the soreness twice. I didn’t quite get it the first time.

  16. lets_talk_basketball

To be fair, bron and AD look great, they just are dealing w/ managing the workload.. which is ok because in the playoffs you don’t do b2b’s. D’lo on the other hand is worrisome because he randomly has been getting hurt. Aside from the ankle sprain, his injuries have been unknown until the next night

  17. _Zap_Rowsdower_

Get used to it Laker fans. He’ll be managing that foot all of next season the man is injury prone.

  18. CooperHouseDeals

“All hands on deck”. Is there a worst motivational coach in the NBA. Seriously, I think the Laker team is great. The coach is NOT

  19. Anyone who plays basketball knows how tough a foot injury is

The entire weight of your body rests on your feet

When you’re constantly running, jumping and cutting during a game it hurts like a bitch

It only gets worse if you keep aggravating it

  20. ralph33lauren

since when is “soreness” an excuse to not play ?? 😂 soreness apart of every game
