Keita Bates-Diop scored a season-high 25 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 assists as the San Antonio Spurs defeat the Portland Trail Blazers 129-127 tonight. Julian Champagnie (24 points), Keldon Johnson (24 points), and Zach Collins (21 points, 10 rebounds) all had strong performances for the Spurs as well. Kevin Knox led Portland with 24 points as Drew Eubanks totaled 23 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 blocks. San Antonio improves to 21-59, while the loss brings Portland to 33-47

    This season has been an absolute embarrassment for the once mighty Spurs. Can't wait for it to end. Watching an NBA team tank is like watching WWF pro wrestling–the outcome is known before the game/match even begins. Worse yet, no matter who they draft, it's hard to believe the Spurs will do better next year than they have done in recent years. Look how tanking has worked out for other teams. I honestly can't see how their approach to this season makes any sense, especially since they used to pride themselves on playing "the right way."

    Yeah I know Spurs are locked in where they are and don't need to lose anymore, but they had to work REAL hard to beat the Blazers 3rd string rental team, most of which won't be on the team next year. Blazers lose the remaining games and they are locked at 5th in the lottery drawing with 10.5% odds at getting 1st.

    I think popovich has been there for at least twenty-six years. If that's not a hold of Fame coach I don't know what is. Portland trail blazers thanks for Josh Hart. He turned my Knick's season around nine-game winning streak soon as he got here.

    They say Phil Jackson is the greatest coach I say Gregg popovich is followed by Pat Riley. Riley only has F.up his resume and that was the 94 finals not putting in Rolando Blackman.

    Boston Celtics signed him Monday but he is playing for San Antonio Spurs Last night lol
