Game Recap: Heat 129, 76ers 101



The Miami Heat clinch the Southeast Division title as they defeat the 76ers, 129-101 tonight in Philadelphia. Jimmy Butler totaled 24 points, six assists, and three rebounds as Tyler Herro added 24 points, five assists, and four rebounds for Miami. Joel Embiid led Philadelphia with 21 points and six rebounds while James Harden added 14 points, four assists, and four rebounds in the loss. The Heat improve to 43-37, while the 76ers fall to 52-28.

  1. Not enough depth nor consistency. Sixers never change and will once again go nowhere in the playoffs. Pathetic.

  2. Where was the future MVP last nite? where was he when he was supposed to play Denver at Denver a 10 days ago? Don't get me wrong, he deserves it. But the narrative has been on all year and performances like this have been easily forgotten. On the other hand the 52 against Boston were first news all over the place

  3. That Jimmy Butler pre-season headshot kills me every time. He has been in Miami too long, looking like an “island boy.”

  4. Miami's got the defense we all know that.
    If they can keep scoring like this in the playoffs they will be unstoppable.

  5. Miami kept attacking the rim cause they knew that Embiid is a liability defender and also not a decent rim protector, Embiid play style is the sole reason why Sixers is a second round exit
