The LA Clippers have 2 games left in their roller coaster of a season. Their home finale against the corpse of the Portland Trail Blazers and the final game in Phoenix against a very likely short-handed Phoenix Suns team. With such a tight race taking place in the Western Conference, should the Los Angeles Clippers tank a game to drop to the 6th seed and play Sacramento instead of Phoenix? Is it too risky given the play-in still is still a possibility?

We need to beat the Blazers on Saturday, the Warriors are probably going to win on Sunday to keep the Lakers off their backs than it becomes a question of securing the 5th seed or take a risk for the 6th seed by resting our guys and hope the T-Wolves beat the Pelicans on Sunday but if the Pelicans win and we lose we’re in the play in. The T-Wolves are going to try to snatch that 8th seed from the Pelicans so they’ll be playing for real. But tbh we might still beat the Suns on Sunday with our backups that’s how bad their depth is.

I cant take all these probabilities tbh they should just win out the last 2, and disregard the last 2 games of the teams below. The play in put us through hell last season, i aint doing that again.
The idea that they want the king's over the sun's is stupid. 1 their goal isn't to make it out of the first round. 2 The king's play too fast. it's a bad match up to begin with. Even if they win the series they will be gassed moving forward. If they knock off the sun's in the first round it will set them up better moving forward.
The strategy is to win, The rest is nonsense, you can not control what others will do – but we could see a 4 way tie between LAC GSW LAL and NOP

Kawhi is 51% in his career in the playoffs. 45% would be a bad series for him. He's at 51% for the season. If he gets the boost in the playoffs he got every year of his career 60% is more likely than 45%. Conservatively without pg he's probably going to have a stat line like 36 8 6 58 42 93 with 2 steals no matter the match up.

The clippers are a losing franchise so will likely try to avoid the suns and get what they perceive to be an easier matchup with the kings. A winning championship franchise would just win their games and guarantee themselves the avoidance of the play-in.
It’s super risky but if the Twolves win tonight then they have the ability to tie with the pelicans if they can beat the pelicans on Sunday. So the Twolves will for sure try their best to beat the pels and you know the pels want to win that to keep their play in spot and possibly get out via a clipper tie.
We need to lose this game today. If we win we’ll allow Warriors to decide seeding. We have an enourmous better chance to win the championship going through SAC and MEM. We’re not beating the Suns and Nuggets back to back.

Take the great with the bad and live by his greats and faults because when he’s motivated against an opponent and has a decent team with him he can activate enough to win you multiple games against said matchup.
