Portland’s last game was 10x worse than what the Mavericks did. Only difference was Mavericks still had an outside shot at the “play-in” and chose for better lottery odds.

If you investigate the Mavs how the fuck do you not investigate Portland for not playing LITERALLY THEIR ENTIRE ROSTER (7 G-League call-ups) and then benching the “hot handed” Portland players the 2nd half (who keep in mind are still G-Leaguers). 🤣
At least the Mavs played half their starters, Luka, Powell, and Bullock for the fans to see. Luka might’ve only played 13 minutes, but at least their home crowd got to see him “some”.
How are you going to seriously investigate the Mavs, after what Portland did on an “atomic level” for that 5th spot? Literally, insane.
Hope this leads to the Mavs pointing fingers and to a Portland investigation too, it won’t though.
It’s kind of pathetic how weak this is from Silver- you can tank but you can’t admit to tanking. He won’t be strong about it in either direction, he won’t blatantly allow it or disallow it.
He has no actual opinion on the effect of tanking on the league or vision on what he wants the NBA to be, he just wants to avoid controversy and get that gambling and Bally money.
