Totally Disagree… Why are so many people simping for management and these spoiled players? What about the FANS? The people buying tickets?
You know why Kobe played? Because he had heart, he respected the fans, AND he knew that tomorrow was not guaranteed (which is more sad to think about when you consider his passing, along with his daughter and the others on that helicopter)
These players CANNOT be "bigger stronger faster," etc, and ALSO sit out games. If the players if the 60s, 70s, 80s could do it at a comparable pace, without the 3, without modern medicine, private planes etc, while playing in Chuck Taylors… Then these "more athletic and evolved" players can. To say otherwise is an elitist view that discounts the experience of the people that pay to watch this.
The quitting mentality these days being justified because a team is flawed. Back to back games is too much for the NBA these days…

wrong decision to me. for mavs 1st off the assessment is crazy…. majority of their losses against these top teams have been decided by 1 possession in the last 30sec etc. so they CAN beat the top teams. they beat 76ers, denver, sac twice etc… and by playing mcgee and morris and actual wings and bigs, they couldve gotten wins. period.

Even though I think the Lakers can win any team, I don’t both LeBron and AD can defeat the Pels or the Wolves, then overcome Memphis, then win another series in the conference finals.
The Clippers are a lot more than Kawhi and Russ now. One of the reasons the Lakers struggled against them was because they couldn’t strategize on two or three players solely.

Not the right call at all. If we follow your way of thinking then we can say the same thing about half the teams in the playoffs /play-in. Only give it all if you’re is fully loaded, if you are top 4/5. Clearly the answer is NO. When you have a chance to make it to the play in/playoffs, you go all out . Mavs showed bad judgement with the trade and terrible sportsmanship tanking with 2 games left
Commissioner should do something about these teams not putting their best players out there. Get rid of protected picks. Once you trade it that’s it.
