Yes! If we don't get Wemby and we pick at 2 would should 100% take Miller! 4 guards drafted 4 years in a row?? Nah, if not Wemby take Miller
"Small ball" Ivey, Scoop,Cade,Bojan & Duren.
The end of this season Ivey has shown enough that we don’t need scoot
I say trade for an established star.
A lot of young guys on this team already. So they need a leader to show them the lead and how to win.
If they keep the pick. Cam Whitmore.
Miller's character needs to be investigated thoroughly. If he really wants to play Piston Basketball, I'd be happy with him. But Scoot is going to the HOF. Nobody on the roster is untradable including Cade and Ivey.
Trade for best fit, draft the most talented is my philosophy.
Nah, Miller all the way. We can’t keep drafting a million guards. Ivey is our future SG. No Scoot. Scoot wouldn’t solve any problems. He can’t shoot, and is undersized. Miller has NBA height, NBA length, the upside to defense at a high level, and can shoot, so checks a lot of boxes.
Vic and if no vic then Brandon
BEST AVAILABLE….REAL SIMPLE…WE WILL MAKE NEEDED TRADES TO ROUND OUT ROSTER
IF IVY AND CADE MIX WELL…WE GOOD…IF NO…WE LOOK
What I observed is Miller struggled to perform against upper echelon opponents. IMO, this is an indicator that he needs more time in college to develop. If he struggled to perform consistently against Texas A&M, Auburn, UNC, Houston, Connecticut, and Michigan State, you can certainly expect the same whenever he faces the Celtics, Bucks, Cavs, and 76ers. As a diehard Pistons fan, I would avoid drafting such a player because it will lead to yet another development period like what Killian Hayes and James Wiseman has gone through.
Although both these players have shown immense improvement, it has taken 3 to 4 years. And in the case of Hayes, there is still more development cycles to go. Rather than go through yet another period like this, it’s better to not waste Cade’s prime years. That’s why the Pistons should TRADE the pick for a bonafide player already in the NBA. In addition, as a fan I’m sick and tired of this lottery level play. I want to see playoffs next year not babysitting another unproven rookie.
The Piston's Biggest NEED is Wing! Brandon Miller at 6'9" can defend and shoot the 3 is the Missing Piece!
Trust Me Troy Weaver is going to Draft the Best Player that fits the Pistons. This is TROY WEAVER! If we get the Number#1 pick then it's the France Freak. If it's #2 then it's Brandon Miller!
