I don’t get what more CT could’ve done that game, he looked for his teammates at times, but they weren’t hitting their shots even with open looks and they weren’t defending.
Cam is able to have an impact in limited minutes/role as seen in the Miami game, he just needs to be guaranteed some form of a role and not being taken out after a mistake.

Today was a bad loss but how can you blame him for losing to the fully healthy Suns and Clippers by single digits. If anything, that’s an accomplishment.

It’s tough, because yeah, we didn’t get the win. But Cam also couldn’t have really done much more to get that win. This has always been the most polarizing thing this season post Tradeline.
Because it isn’t as easy as “Cam just needs more minutes”. But he does need more minutes. Idk. Seth being a FA next season should free up a spot for Cam.

Truth is somewhere in the middle, no? Cam was great tonight, and on most nights, Cam needs to play like he’s not the only player on the floor.
Iso scoring is great and all, but ultimately basketball is a team sport and you can’t win games unless it’s a team effort, I know there are many fans of iso ball that love watching Cam Thomas shoot and iso to his hearts content but the fact of the matter is it just doesn’t equate to winning basketball, Cam is going to have to work on other areas of his game in order to contribute to a team dynamic there are 5 players on the floor 1 cannot beat 5 (yes there is the exception to the rule when all shots are falling and fouls are baited at a high rate but that is the exception to the rule)
To me being a team player and affecting other aspects of the game is much more impressive, for instance take a look at what the Thunders bench did today in a win players like Tre Mann who had 24 12 12 and 2 Dieng 20 8 9 and 1 Sarr 22 and 15, the team played well as a whole and they were all involved which resulted in a win.
I would much prefer a more balanced performance resulting in a team win, I’m a huge fan of the game having both played and I study and watch as much as I can and I can only describe the way Cam Thomas plays as selfish in a team sport, no disrespect it’s just my opinion.

Yes Cam has one assist but the nigga literally carried the team like he almost dropped a 50 ball, if the rest of the team isn’t hitting shots what else can he do?
JVs offense is the issue. You build an iso centric offense then complain when Cam executes it and actually scores the ball. You set high screens for Cam and he is able to get off his shot.
