He just didn’t want to play him 🤷🏻♂️😭
Cheap
Sorry what was the reason he didn’t play?
Must have been really tough lol
Nurse was def told not to play him.
Something tells me there’s a lot of bs going on in the FO and Nurse had enough.
So he didn’t play because they wanted to save money? Because if so then I’m just becoming more convinced that the owners pushed for us to make the playoffs just so they could make a little revenue. Which would suck because then Masai and co. don’t really have freedom over the direction of the team
Wanted to play him but played the starters all the minutes instead gtfoh. See ya NN.
Thad young has over $170million in career earnings. I will shed no tears on him missing out in his games played bonus.
I would be pissed if he consistently brought the goods on the defensive end and then got 14 dnpcds, but he didn’t. He was unreliable.
Could he have taken Precious’ minutes? I would have been fine with that….but I understand developing Precious rather than shelving him.
The revisionist history today is out of this world.
Thad was not good. He did not contribute enough in the minutes he had. And it’s better to have played Koloko over him solely for developmental purposes.
Either nurse did the right thing by benching him, or the FO did the right thing by instructing Nurse to bench him. This is a non issue, Thad got a good deal and is not a charity case.
I remember vividly Thad being the only mf who could organize the offense when they faced a zone to find an open guy. So all this “revisionist history” stuff is bullshit.
They played him at center and as a freaking wing to space the floor. What kind of idiotic player management is that? Just a complete misuse of the roster. C’mon now. Imagine purposely not playing a guy just so you don’t have to pay him later.
