I already know JCs gonna get flamed for those comments cause America is anti Trae but shoutout to him for propping up our boy. I thought they hated each other /s

Great teammate. Boost up your PG at a time where everyone else is putting him down. Plus, JC definitely acknowledges that Trae is a big reason why he got the lucrative contract extension he got.
Hope these 2 perform well tomorrow 🙏🙏🙏

I get he plays for y’all but it’s no way y’all believe this Right???

The shitty part is that if Trae was on the Lakers, Celtics, Knicks or Heat he would be seen as a top 5 maybe top 7 player and there wouldn’t be nearly as many people saying how badly they lost the trade.

I don’t think there’s a strong debate on the playmaking part. I think Jokic is the only one that you can say is better than Trae in that regards.
However isolation might be more debatable. Statistically, Trae scores significantly more points in isolation but Steph is way more efficient at it. On top of that, Steph plays in a system that’s designed for a lot off-ball movement so isolation basketball is not nearly required as much as it is on our team.
But man, when Steph does play iso it’s a thing of beauty. Especially since his quick release doesn’t require him to make too much room.

I’ve been in other teams threads about a trae trade and It’s funny how other fanbases treat trae like he’s some bum and not actually one of the best offensive players in this league and think all he is is just some locker room cancer. He might be the most disrespected superstar in the league

Nah they beefing I can tell by how much he supports trae /s

Not that bad of a take tbh. Trae > Steph in playmaking, isolation I’d take Trae < Steph, trae is still a great iso scorer though.

This whole thread needs to be institutionalized. Are we just using the word “playmaking” to mean “has the ball every possession”? Curry without the ball standing at half court is better at creating opportunities for his teammates than Trae

This is how a teammate should response, Trae is definitely a better playmaker.
